READING AND COMPREHENSION
Read about the types of transport Sam likes and dislikes, then answer the questions.

Sam loves to ride his bike. It makes him feel free. He rides his bike very fast and feels the
wind in his hair. However, Sam dislikes motorcycles. They are loud and scare him. He
thinks they are dangerous.

When it rains, Sam takes a taxi. Taxis are convenient but a bit expensive. Sometimes,
taxis are late and make Sam worry about being late too.

Sam's friend has a scooter. Sam thinks scooters are cool, but he doesn't have one. He
doesn't know how to ride a scooter, and it seems difficult.

When Sam goes to the city, he takes the subway. The subway is modern and busy. Sam
likes looking at all the people. The subway is also safe, which makes his mom happy.

On special occasions, Sam's family uses a car. Cars are comfortable and can take them to
faraway places. Sam enjoys family trips in the car.

Last year, Sam got to ride in a helicopter. It is an exciting experience! The helicopter was
fast, but Sam felt a little scared. He prefers to stay on the ground.

If Sam needs to travel with many people, he takes the bus. Buses are big and crowded,
but they are also cheap and take him to different places.

Overall, Sam loves his bike the most because he can ride it everywhere for free. Biking
makes him happy, and he keeps pedalling for as long as he can.
