How to setup the dual detector.

The PC requires two LAN cards except the Internet. LAN Card must support gigabit.

It enters in order and executes idetector.

(The files below are included on the CD in the detector box. If you purchased a PC together, it is also
included in the D drive software folder.)

Click the Add button.

Select the detector model to add.

Change the name of the folder to be created. Venu1717X_2

Check the added detector model.

Confirm that "Venu1717X_2" folder is created in the work_dir folder.

Open the Config.ini located in the "Venu1717X_2" folder.

It only changes HostIP.

HostIP=192.168.8.189

Open the iDetectorConfig.ini located in the "Venu1717X_2" folder.

Make the same changes to the iDetectorconfig.ini file in the “Venu1717X” folder.

Network set up.

Stand Detector

 Select wired network


adapter that connected
to the detector.

 Right click the network


adapter. Then select
properties.

 Double click IPV4 item

 Default IP settings:

 IP address:
192.168.8.188

 Subnet mask:
255.255.255.0

(The detector network speed must be at least 1G. If the speed is 100Mbps, check the LAN cable and network
status.)

Network set up.

Table Detector

 Select wired network

 Right click the network


adapter. Then select
properties.

Please select all as below.


The detector settings are the same.

Change the value and press the Set button to save.

Clear Acq Delay Time => 2200

Change it to "off" and press the set button to save.

Preview image Enable => off

Select the FreeSync mode and select the Write button to save.

Trigger Mode => TriggerMode_FreeSync

Detector Calibration

Please check the following and prepare for calibration.

Enter Create Gain page

Click "Start" button to start process.

- Set exposure condition of X-ray.

- Push PREP(READY) Hand switch of X-ray.

- Check READY-ON of the X-ray.

- Click PREP button of the calibration software.

- Take exposure as soon as the Green Progress Bar on the calibration software display.

- After acquired image, display image and display value on the Current Value Text Box. If
the value is close to the Expected Value, the Current Value Text box’s color is changed
GREEN. If the color is changed to GREEN, click the Accept Button. If not, the color is
changed to YELLOW, should change X-ray Exposure condition.

- After clicks accept or not accept, the PREP button is activated. When the PREP button is
activated, work same processing of step

Until Stage: 5/5.

- When activated the Generate Button, click generate button after should check the
check box of Download to FPD after generation

- Defect calibration is worked in the same flow as gain calibration.

Download template file dialog will pop up if "Download to FPD after generation" option was checked.

Click Download button to download the template into the detector.

Note.

X-ray modality values should be pre-set.

Then click PREP as shown below and the Progress bar, which appears green at the top of the picture screen,
will move for 2 seconds. So X-ray shot should be finished within 2 seconds.

Therefore, before clicking the PREP button, you must click the PREP button to verify that the X-ray Hand
SW is ready for exposure. And press the exposure button of the Hand SW as soon as the green process bar
appears.

Generate Defect Template File

You don’t need to change Index no. You just push the button of Download.

Grid Calibration (If you are using a grid, you need to calibrate it.)

Fit the detector into the Bucky and Set the grid to the fixed position so that it and use 103 line per inch
for grid.
① Select 1 Create Grid.

② Click Start button to set the grid calibration.

③ Click Prep button and exposure.

④ Set the Current Value to around 20000, so that the green color appears.

⑤ Check the message button in the red box as above a and click the generate button.

Check as shown above and go to the Acquire tab to check SWGridRM.

Open the Config.ini located in the "Venu1717X_2" folder.

Make the same changes to the iDetectorconfig.ini file in the “Venu1717X” folder.

Copy and paste the detector calibration file

Open the "DeviceConfig.ini" file in the Examvue folder.

Please change the marked part to "0".

Open the "DeviceConfig" file in the Examvue folder.

Change to the dual detector setting as shown below.
