can enjoy quality education and healthcare. Last but not least, city life is exciting. There are
many entertainment places for me and my friends. For example, we can hang out at shopping

really liveable place.
In my opinion, I don’t like living in a big city because of the following reasons. Firstly, traffic
could be one of the biggest problems of living in a big city. There are a lot of people and
transportation in a big city, so traffic jam usually happens. People cannot go to work on time
because they are always stuck for hours in rush hour. Secondly, another problem of living in a
big city is polluted environment. Smoke from factories' chimneys not only pollutes the air but
also makes people get many serious cancers. Thirdly, the living standard in a big city is very
high. It will be difficult for the poor and workers to live in a big city because they have to pay too
much for public services while their salary is too low. In conclusion, it is not easy to live in a big
city.

There are many ways we should do to manage our time effectively. Firstly, we should set
specific goals and prioritise them according to their importance level. This will help us keep

schedule or to - do list can help us manage our time effectively. We should also be realistic
about how long each task will take and build in extra time for unexpected interruptions or delays.
Last but not least, it is essential to eliminate distractions and time-wasting activities such as
social media or unnecessary meetings which can reduce our productivity. In short, by following
those tips, we can manage our time effectively and achieve success in our life.

I am so proud of my community because of the following reasons. Firstly, it is spacious. There
are not many people living in my community, and the streets and roads are wide. Therefore, I do
not feel confined here. Secondly, my community has enough facilities for its people. Near my
house there are two small parks with sports facilities for people of all ages. Also, there are good
schools, hospitals, and supermarkets nearby. Last but not least, people here are very friendly
and helpful. Our neighbours greet each other whenever they meet. They are also willing to help
each other in difficult situations. I really love living in my community.

In the past, students had lessons in the morning only. In the afternoon, they stayed at home and
did other things to help their parents. At school, they learnt subjects like Math, literature, history,
and geography. They did not have music and arts or science. They did not take extra classes
and had little homework. Therefore, they had a lot of time to have fun as well as helped their
parents with housework and farm work. During leisure time, they played traditional games such
as hide-and –seek, tug of war, skipping and so on. They used to go to school on foot or by bike.
For them, although the old school life had many difficulties, there was a great time with many
beautiful memories.

I still remember the most pleasant experience I have had at school. It was going on a camping
trip with my classmates last year. We went to a village about 100 km from our school. We went
there for 3 days. On the first day, we out up the tents. They held a tent competition. We tried
our best to decorate the tent, so we won the first prize in the completion of tent decoration. On
the second day, we had a cooking completion. It was awesome. We had to draw lots to choose
the dish we would cook. We also won the first prize in cooking competition. On the third day, we
played games and sang the song “ what song is it?”, then we danced and took a lot of photos. It
was one of my happiest experience I have had and this experience will go with me forever

I still remember the most unpleasant experience I have had at school. It was getting a bad
grade on the test. I got a low mark on a Literature test. It was my saddest and most memorable
memory. On that day, the Literature teacher returned the test to the class. When returning the
test to me, her expression was displeased. I looked down at the test and unexpectedly, a
number 3 on the test. I felt dizzy. I tried to look back calmly, the number 3 clearly printed in the
red dot frame was very clear as teasing me. I quickly put it into my bag so that no one could see
my low grade. It seemed that everyone was happy with their results, no one noticed my
sadness. The more I thought about it, the more embarrassed I became. I re-read the test
carefully and realized that I was wrong. The topic was not difficult, but I didn't read it carefully
enough and finally got the wrong topic. I learned a valuable lesson from that experience. I have
become more patient and calm, always read the lesson carefully before doing it.

It's nice to hear from you again. Let me tell you about the changes in my family!

Firstly, our family is still a nuclear family with two generations, but our living conditions are much
better. Two years ago, my father found another job and he earns more money than he did. Our
house is equipped with modern furniture such as air-conditioner, washing machine and
dishwasher. My father also spends more time with all members in my family. He teaches us how
to do the chores and share happiness and sadness together.
Secondly, the way in spending our free time is also changeable. Sometimes, we can eat out at
the weekend or go on holiday. We focus more on family-oriented activities like gardening and
cooking together.

In my opinions, there are a lot of ways to keep a well – balanced life. Firstly, to give
priority to work while maintaining a balance between life and study. You should

schedule time for socializing and keeping in touch with your family and friends even
when you are busy. Last but not least, you should practice relaxation techniques such
as meditation, physical exercises and so on to manage stress and anxiety. In short, by
following those things you can maintain a well – balanced fife that helps you have a
happy life.

People in our neighbourhood have some ways to observe our traditions and customs.
Firstly, they we hold the festivals of our country and the area such as Mid-Autumn
