These aids are, most of the time, graphical outlines or images that gives a general idea of a certain topic. Linear Text A traditional text that needs to be read from beginning to end in order to make sense of its context. It follows a sequential reading path. The common examples of this texts are: novel, poems, short stories, letters and educational texts. Non-Linear Text It is non-sequential. The readers decide how the text is to be read without necessarily following a prescribed pattern.
