The month of September was filled with scientific fervor as our school enthusiastically
celebrated Science Month. This annual event aimed not only to foster a love for science but
also to provide students with a platform to showcase their knowledge and creativity. The
activity started with a short program. Our school head Mrs. Mariepet L. Asis gave an
inspiring and challenging message. As the school Science Coordinator, I gave my welcome
address to the participants, parents and to all the audiences. The highlight of the celebration
was the much-anticipated Quiz Bee from Grade III to Grade VI pupils accompanied by
various engaging activities that ignite the spirit of scientific inquiry among the learners of
San Antonio Elementary School.
The Quiz Bee was the centerpiece of the science Month celebration. Pupils from
different Grades III to Grade VI each representing their respective classes. The questions
ranged from fundamental scientific principles to contemporary advancements, challenging
the participants to apply their knowledge and critical thinking skills. The quiz Bee not only
showcased pupils’ academic prowess but also promoted healthy competition. After series of
intense rounds, the winning individuals emerged, having demonstrated exemptional
knowledge and quick thinking. The victors were awarded certificates of participation,
acknowledging their efforts and enthusiasm for science.
In addition to the Quiz Bee, Search for Scientist Look Alike participated by kindergarten
to Grade III pupils, and Search for Mr. and Miss Eco-Friendly fashion were also highlighted
during the culmination of the Science Month Celebration.
It was an overwhelming success, leaving a lasting impact on pupils and teachers alike.
The celebration not only promoted a deeper appreciation for science but also inspired the
