Profile: OT/IIOT Engineer

Job Details: OT/IIOT Engineer (For SCADA, DCS, BMS & UEMS)

Designation: Assistant / Deputy Manager

Location: Goa

Educational qualifications:

• BE / B Tech (Instrumentation) or Bachelor's / Master's in Computer Science / Information


Technology / Similar engineering specialization

Relevant experience:

• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Operational Technology (OT/IIOT) architecture

• Solid attention to detail with an investigative mind and high-quality problem-solving skills.

• Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.

• Knowledge of industry standards within this area, primarily IEC 62443, IEC 62351.

• Experience with Python/Bash/PowerShell or other scripting languages/tools.

• Experience in technical documentation.

• Solid communication skills and stakeholder management experience.

• Project execution & Change management experience are preferred

• Fluent in English (writing and oral) Knowledge of GMP and various regulatory requirements

Skills:

• Knowledge of Industrial IoT, condition monitoring and process optimization.

• Understanding of Digital IT system processes, technology, infrastructure, and specification

Key Accountabilities for the role:

• Hands on Experience on Control logic development and software application configuration.

• Understanding of Various communication protocols and their configuration use.

• Able to develop SCADA graphics and Database configuration for Report templates

• Candidate shall have the experience on DCS (Emerson, Simens), Rockwell SCADA, Historian
and SQL Database.
• Must have knowledge of communication protocol like RS 232, TCP/IP, Modbus TCP, Profibus
DP, Ethernet IP, CAN, OPC UA etc.

• Candidate shall have the experience on CSV/PLC validation.

• Candidate shall have the experience on calibration of the instruments.

• Candidate shall have knowledge on GAMP 5.

• Candidate shall have the Knowledge on alarm management.

• Candidate shall have the experience 21 CFR part 11.

• Candidate shall have the experience on Rock well Factory talk view, Honey well,
Siemen(Wincc) PLC etc.

• Candidate shall have the experience on HVAC systems.

• Study the connectivity, design, develop and integration from on-premises gateway, DCS/PLC
to the cloud.

• Knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, data mapping, data analysis, and data
visualization.

• Ensure minimum breakdown of the equipment’s/system.

• To Supporting to preparation of deviations, investigations of discrepancies, impact


assessment, Change controls, Risk assessments etc.

• To ensure day to day activity (preventive & Breakdown Maintenance) monitoring and
execution of the process equipment.

• Evaluation of consultant and consultancy CER preparation.

• Technical evaluation of Vendors to meet Cipla specification and standards.

• Preparation/Review of URS/ Technical specification sheet/ Terms of reference/layouts and


drawing.

• Carry out Risk assessment in coordination with User.

• Preparation of bar chart /project schedule along with major Milestone.

• Submit the CER and follow for approval.

• Good understanding of product design & development processes of IIOT.

• Good understanding and experience in Digital device Testing & Verification of functionalities.

• Understanding of Digital IT system processes, technology, infrastructure and specification

• Strong Analytical Skills - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; collects and researches
data; uses intuition and experience to complement data; designs workflows and procedures.

• Ability to provide strong customer service and exercise diplomacy.

• Knowledge over Programmable Logic controllers (PLC), DCS, Supervisory control & data
Acquisition soft wares (SCADA)
