Organic Lead-Generation Specialist

You will be an organic lead-generation specialist. Your objective is to book sales calls for
Michael to close.

We do this through a few different methods:

● Direct-messaging Facebook pages


● Cold Emails
● Friending people on Facebook
● Engaging with groups
● LinkedIN
● Instagram DMs

You will now learn how to get new leads + sales calls booked for Marketing The Universe. If you
would like to add another method you believe would be equally or more effective, then feel free
to do it.

It doesn’t matter how you do it​. You get paid $20 USD per qualified sales call that is attended.

If you have any personal referrals or ideas, please share them and send them over and get
paid!

Payment

First, let’s discuss payment. You can get paid once per month, twice per month, or weekly- it is
up to you. You can get paid via PayPal. If PayPal does not work, please ​contact me​.

Your Objective

You will get paid per qualified sales call that attends. For example, if Joe owns a gym and has a
$5,000 USD per month marketing budget and he attends the call, then you will get paid
regardless if he becomes a client or not​.

The above link is to a calendar. The prospect can select a time to call, and then after they select
a time they are redirected to an application they have to fill out.

The prospect must schedule a time to call and attend the meeting. When this happens, you will
get an additional $20.

The objective with the call is for us to close the deal- so it’s very important that you schedule
only qualified sales calls ​(more on this in a minute), even if that means you make a little mess
money upfront.

Bonuses

If you get a high number of qualified sales calls on the phone, you will get a raise to $25 per call
attended.

If a call closes, you will receive a financial bonus depending on the close amount.

For example, if you book 5 sales calls you will make $100. If one of the sales calls closes, you
may get an additional $50 so that you earn a total of $150.

Our Ideal Client

Our ideal client is any business capable of spending at least $3,000 USD per month on their
digital marketing. This includes but is not limited to:

● Doctors
● Dentists
● Fitness studios (ie. gyms, pilates)
● Some realtor groups / brokerages
● Large restaurant chains
● Ecommerce stores / stores that are selling things

The more money that the client can spend, the better- and the bigger the raise you will get.

This is why it is very important for you to book only ​qualified​ sales calls. If you book a call that
closes for $5,000, you will make a lot more money on a bonus percentage than if you book a
call that closes for $1,000.
Our ideal client is also located on the ​Eastern Time Zone United States​. For example New
York, Boston, Florida, etc.

What We Provide

When asked by the prospect what we provide, tell them that we create profitable digital
marketing strategies that deliver consistent leads and sales.

We specialize in Facebook Ads, and can help them get profitable sales or leads.

Don’t worry too much about the details. ​Contact me​ if you have a question that you are unsure
of how to answer.

Focus on the outcome- we get profitable leads + sales with digital marketing. You can also send
them the links I put above, our case studies + testimonials.

The goal is to get the prospect on the phone for a more detailed conversation.

How To Succeed

Now that you know how much you can make, how to get a bonus, and who our ideal client is,
here is how to succeed in the task.

Right now you will do the following:

● Update excel sheets


● Cold Email
● FB page outreach

If you would like to do more (ie. Instagram outreach), feel free to do it!

Here is the step by step guide on how to succeed as our Organic Lead-Gen Specialist:

Step 1: Research & Excel

Determine what niche might be profitable for us. For example, dentists or real estate agents
would be great.
Then go to Google and type in:

[niche] in [city].

Remember, the city must be in Eastern Time Zone USA.

For example, “Dentists in Miami” is great.

You will then have a list of dentists in Miami. Go to each listing in Google Maps or on Google.

You will then want to open this Excel sheet:

Add the web link.

If you can find the owner, CEO, or contact person, then add that name to the next column. If you
can’t find it, that’s okay- write N/A.

Look for the Email on the website. Find all applicable Emails. If you can’t find the Email, then
save the contact page.

Add all Emails to the Excel sheet.

Then look for a Facebook link on the website- typically in the top header or the bottom footer
there is an “F” icon indicating the Facebook link.

Go to the Facebook page, and save the link to the Excel sheet.

When you’re on the Facebook page, in the bottom left (on a computer), press “about.”

Sometimes there will be an additional Email listed for the Facebook page that wasn’t on the
website- save that Email also.

There is sometimes a personal profile link also associated with the Facebook page. If you see
that under the “About” section, then save that person’s profile link to the Excel sheet.

Important note​: if you find someone’s Facebook profile on the “About” section of their page, I
(Michael) will reach out to them directly via my own profile. You will still be paid $20 if that
person schedules a call with me!
Step 2: The Cold Email

Here is the script for the cold Email. Note: never send 3 Emails in a row with the same script.
Always switch up the variation.

Subject Line

For the subject line, if you can find the owner’s name:

[NAME] - Get More Clients?

[NAME] - 2x Your Leads?

[NAME] - Quick Question

If you can’t find the owner’s name, then use this as the subject line:

Need More Customers? [Business Name]

Get 2x Leads [Business Name]

Quick Question About [Business Name]

Add the “name” or “business name” or the person.

For example:

Nadia - Quick Question

Or

Keller Williams Real Estate - Quick Question

Body / Text of Email

Now for the body or text of the Email:

Option 1:

Hey [NAME or Business Name],

[leads, clients, patients, customers, etc. whatever it is].

Step 3: The Facebook Direct-Message

If you can find their Facebook page, then we will also paste a similar version of the cold Email to
their Facebook page!

Note: don’t spam-message a ton of pages within a short period of time, and do not message
more than 30 within a 4-hour period. Make sure you “like” every page you message also.

If you start to get warnings from Facebook, ​stop​ so that your account does not get banned.

In the event that you get a warning or restriction for messaging too many Facebook pages,
please contact me immediately. Do not message anymore Facebook pages. This means you
were doing too many, and you should do less, or not so frequently (ie. all at once).

Here are the options for messaging people on Facebook:

Option 3:

Step 4: Updating Excel

Under “Email sent?” write the date the Email was sent (ie. 14 Nov). Same for the “FB
Message?”

If there was no Email found, or no Facebook page found, then just write N/A. If you couldn’t find
either on the website, then delete everything.

Do not worry about the Facebook profile- I will personally reach out to Facebook profiles, and
they are not often found on pages (only sometimes found & listed).

Important Note About Outreach

Make sure the template is customized relevant to the niche. For the dental niche for example
you wouldn’t say “get more customers,” you would say “get more patients.” A teaching business
would want “more students,” a restaurant would want more customers.”

The template is just a guideline, make sure that the actual words are customized for the
niche/person and that it clearly demonstrates the value we can provide to them.

Furthermore, do not use one single version too often- constantly test to see what works, and
then stick to what works.

Step 5: Conversations

Many people will not respond to your cold Emails or Facebook page messages. This might be
because they don’t check their Email, are not interested, or did not appreciate the message.

It’s okay.

If someone responds negatively, ignore it and move on. Delete it immediately. Do not let
negativity get to you!

When someone responds, make sure you update the Excel sheet with the date they responded
(ie. 15 Nov).

The goal with the response is to start a conversation that leads to them scheduling a call at this

If someone has any questions, answer them as best as you can. If you don’t know how to
answer it, ​contact me ​so that I can answer it for you.

Keep the focus on the value that is provided to the client. We help them get leads or sales
profitably, and by scheduling a call with me they can learn more and determine if it’s a good fit
for them.

Do not discuss pricing. Tell the prospect that it depends on the range of services offered which
is customized for each client.

Example of a Successful Outreach

Here is an example of someone that successfully closed ​me​ using this exact same strategy!
At this point I booked call, and they were able to close me on their service. This is the general
flow we want things to go through.

The person who reached out to me demonstrated the value they can provide, avoided my
questions about price, and then got me on a call where we could talk business.

Organic Lead-Gen Specialist Summary

In short, as the Organic Lead-Generation Specialist you will be responsible for booking calls for
Michale at ​www.marketingtheuniverse.com/schedule​.

You will send Emails & Facebook messages to pages with the goal of scheduling appointments
& sales calls with qualified prospects. You will also find people’s Facebook profiles, and I
(Michael) reach out to them directly, then you will receive a commission for the sales call.

You are also allowed to reach out via LinkedIN or Instagram- this guide is simply the framework
through which you can succeed at your job.

You will be paid $20 per qualified prospect that gets on the phone. If an unqualified prospects
gets on the phone, you will not be paid (ie. some random 18 year old who doesn’t have
business or money).

You will receive a bonus % of each deal that is closed that you have sourced.

By successfully completing this role, you will also receive bonus compensation for sticking with
the company for an extended period of time.
