PURPOSE OF THE
MODULE
The purpose of Human Resource Management Module 1 is to enable participants from grant-aided pharmaceutical
and medical devices companies to understand the importance of Human Resources Management in running
successful enterprises as it ensures that HR professionals are equipped with the relevant knowledge and skills
needed to support and align the workforce with organizational goals. By doing so, businesses can create a high
performing, engaged, and satisfied workforce, leading to improved productivity and long-term success. This is
important because the Southern African Development Community (SADC), provides numerous opportunities for
grant-aided companies to establish or expand their businesses within their countries and beyond
