PLATFORM: College Criminal Justice of Education

TITLE: 3-DAY SPORTS FEST

OBJECTIVES:

• Physical Fitness: Promote health and wellness among students.


• Teamwork: Motivate the students to foster camaraderie and teamwork.
• Discover Talents: Identify talents among the students.
• Increased Confidence: Create a fun and inclusive environment and promote
relationship-building within the department.
• Improved Mental Health: Improve focus and provide an outlet from the pressure
of collegiate life.
• Boost Morale: Fostering a team spirit while promoting healthy competition.

EVENT OVERVIEW:
The event will span three days and feature a variety of sports and recreational activities
as follows:

A. Outdoor Activities
1. Basketball
2. Volleyball
3. Athletics
4. Relay Races
5. Tug-of-war
6. Team-building Exercises

B. Indoor Activities
1. Chess
2. Trivia Quiz

CONCLUSION
This 3-Day Sports Event for the College of Criminal Justice Education will not only
highlight the student's athletic abilities but also foster relationship-building, with
emphasis on good sportsmanship, teamwork and intellectual wit.
TITLE: 3-DAY SPORTS FEST/EVENT: QUIZ BEE

OBJECTIVES:

• To improve student's critical and holistic thinking skills.


• To make students more intellectually competent.
• To build student's self-esteem.

HOW
By having a 1-day event, which is a continuation of the 3-Day Sports Fest and would
take place on the last day of the said event, where students can show their capabilities
in terms of academic aspects. The announcement of this program will be posted in our
college building halls and on social media for all students to read and participate.

CONCLUSION
Engaging in this type of event will help students broaden their knowledge and
vocabulary. In addition to that, it will encourage collaboration among students through
participation in intellectually stimulating activities.
TITLE: VERSE OF THE WEEK

OBJECTIVES:

• To bring everyone closer to God


• To promote spirituality
• To better fight off spiritual warfare

HOW
Bible verses will be posted on the communication/bulletin board or social media every
week.

CONCLUSION
Since verses are posted on the communication/bulletin board, it's not just the students
who will benefit from this action, but also other people such as the faculties and staff,
the school utilities, and visitors who happen to pass by and read the verses.
TITLE: THE DOOR'S OPEN

OBJECTIVES:

• To promote an effective communication means between the SG officials and


student body
• To resolve problems immediately
• To acknowledge diverse opinions
• To strive to have a common ground
• To foster unity
• To promote transparency

HOW
• By providing a "suggestion box" every after activities/events and semester
• By making google forms
• By talking to us personally
• By encouraging our fellow students to voice out their opinions/concerns
• By ensuring the students that their voices will be heard
• By securing their identity with utmost confidentiality

CONCLUSION
"The Door's Open" increases collaboration, promotes mutual respect and trust, and
encourages productivity and good governance as issues, problems, and concerns are
raised and addressed.
TITLE: "ANONYVOICE: EMPOWERING STUDENT ADVOCACY"

OBJECTIVES:

•To boost confidence of students to reach out with their concerns without fear of
retaliation.
•To increase the number of students reporting instructor misconduct.
•To improve student satisfaction with instructor-student interactions
•To provide a safe and confidential channel for students to report concerns
•To increase instructor accountability

HOW
By implementing an anonymous "Student Voice Advocacy Initiative" under the name
"AnonyVoice/VoiceGuard” through a physical drop box or the internet such as
GoogleForms, you can emphasize the protection and empowerment of student voices
within the college community. This platform will not only facilitate open communication
but also foster a culture of accountability and transparency, ultimately enhancing the
overall student experience and academic environment.

CONCLUSION
The "Student Voice Advocacy Initiative" aims to empower college students to express
their concerns about instructors anonymously, ensuring their voices are heard without
fear of reprisal. This platform will provide a safe space for students to share feedback,
enabling a transparent and accountable environment within the college community.
TITLE: EMOTIONAL PREPAREDNESS FOR CCJE STUDENTS

OBJECTIVES:

• To prepare students emotionally for the upcoming school year


• To avoid mental health problems
• To promote holistic health

HOW
A day will be given to orient students on the possible stress or any emotional or mental
health problems they may encounter of being a Criminology Student.

Possible Discussion:

1. Possible Reasons for emotional/mental health problems.


2. How to cope with the situation

CONCLUSION
In this platform we would be able to prepare students emotionally. It is important for every
students to be stable emotionally and mentally to focus on their studies both academics
and none academics.
TITLE: IMPROVING WASTE MANAGEMENT

OBJECTIVES:

• To promote sustainability and reduce waste by recycling papers and plastics.


• To maximize the use of available resources by repurposing old materials.
• To provide students with materials for engaging and creative activities such as
art projects.
• To teach students the importance of recycling and environmental conservation.
• To foster a sense of community and teamwork through collaborative recycling
and art projects.

HOW WE CAN MAKE THIS HAPPEN

1. By placing clearly labeled bins in strategic locations around the school for
papers, plastics, and general waste.

2. By conducting orientation to teach students about the importance of waste


segregation and recycling.

3. By monitoring the bins regularly to ensure strict adherence to the proper


segregation of waste.

4. By Organizing activities where students can repurpose paper into new products,
such as designs or any art materials that can be use during events.

CONCLUSION
Implementing this waste management platform will greatly benefit our school community.
By ensuring that waste is properly segregated and recycled, we can reduce our
environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices. This initiative will not only
save resources but also generate funds that can be reinvested into the school, enhancing
educational activities and facilities. Moreover, it will provide students with valuable
lessons in responsibility and environmental stewardship, equipping them with the
knowledge and habits needed to lead more sustainable lives. This platform represents a
practical, impactful step towards a greener and more responsible school environment.
Title: Printing Services at NORSU Main Campus II Bajumpandan

Objectives
1. Make Printing Easy by providing students with a convenient place to print on campus.
2. Save Money, this helps students avoid extra travel and costs for printing.
3. Raise Funds, the money from printing services can be used to support school needs.

PROBLEM
NORSU Bajumpandan is far from downtown where the nearest printing services are.
Students need to take two rides to get there, which is time-consuming and costly.

SOLUTION
- Set Up Printing Services at School
-Offer printing at low prices.
-Located on campus, saves students from travel and extra costs.
-Use the collected money for printer maintenance, buying paper and ink, and save the
rest for school funds.

CONCLUSION
Starting a printing service at NORSU Main Campus II Bajumpandan will solve the
problem of students needing to travel far for printing. It will be convenient and save
them money. The service will also generate funds to support school activities and
needs, benefiting everyone.
