Janice: One of the most awaited school events is the intramurals meet. Am I
right partner?
Jaymar: Yes partner, every student is excited to showcase his or her talents
and skills in different sports competition. Aside from that, they are also
excited to display their talent in vocal solo competition
Janice: Yes. I know that each team had prepared a lot for today’s event. And
speaking of preparation, candidates for Ms. and Mr. Sports Meet also made
their preparation to win the title and the crown and to give pride to their
team.
Jaymar: Thus, without further ado…..
Janice and Jaymar: Friends, ladies and gentlemen, WELCOME to Langub
Elementary School’s Sports Day 2024
Janice: I am Janice
Jaymar: I am Jaymar
Janice and Jaymar: And we are your host for today’s intramurals event.
Janice: To formally start the program, may I request everyone to stand for
the singing of the National Anthem and this will be followed by a prayer
and Sugbo hymn.

Jaymar: Please be seated. To formally start this remarkable event, help us
welcome our very active school principal, Mrs. Magdalena Camajalan for
her welcome address. Let’s give her a round of applause!

Janice : Thank you so much ma’am. Intramurals are the perfect

opportunity to highlight camaraderie, sportsmanship, and talent. At this
moment, may I call on Maam Marydel Inigo for the presentation of
participants. Around of applause please.
Janice: Thank you so much maam. With that, I can feel the excitement in the
air. At this juncture, may I request the athletes to please be here in front of
the stage and sir Jaymar Villarmino, grade 5 adviser will lead the Oath of
Amateurism.

Jaymar: The Oath of Amateurism has been successfully conducted,

affirming each athlete’s commitment to fairness, integrity, and respect for
the true spirit of competition. And now , let us witness the lighting of the
torch to be lighted by Criscel Joy Narvasa, 2024 Cebu Provincial Meet
Athlete.

Janice: The torch has been lighted, symbolizing the spirit of unity,
determination, and sportsmanship that will guide us throughout this event.
Let this flame be a reminder to give our best in every game, to support one
another, and to honor the true essence of competition.
And now, with great excitement and anticipation, and in the spirit of
sportsmanship, unity, and friendly competition, may I request our school
head, Mrs. Magdalena Camajalan to officially declare the Sports Day 2024
open.

Jaymar: And with that, Sports Day 2024 is now officially open! Athletes,
give it your all, and remember to compete with heart and respect for one
another. To all our spectators, let’s keep the energy high and cheer for our
teams! Let’s make this day filled with unforgettable moments. Good luck to
everyone, and may this year’s Intramurals be a celebration of teamwork,
perseverance, and fun!
Janice : And now, let us proceed to the most exciting part of today’s event,
The Search for Mr. and Ms. Sports Meet 2024.
Our candidates are composed of 6 lovely young girls vying for the title of Miss
Sports Meet 2024 and 6 handsome young men for Mister Sports Meet 2024.
With the total of 12 enticingly beautiful and handsome contingents here today
at this very moment – brave, empowered and confident with a silver lining .. to
showcase their talents and to share the essence of our School Intramurals.

Jaymar: Are you guys excited to see our candidates? (response from the
audience) I can’t hear you… Are you guys excited?

Janice: Wow that’s the spirit! We are so excited as well and I can see in your
faces the same excitement that we have. I bet the candidates back stage are
as well excited on who’s gonna go home today proclaimed as winners. Because
we all know that in every competition there will always be winners and there
will also be “Learners” not losers, why? for in the end you will all learn
something by the end of the competition.
Jaymar: With that being said, competitions should always have a set of expert
judges to do the decision and choose who will be the best among the best. So
without further talks, may I call on Mrs. Ivy Anne S. Day, grade 4 adviser for
introducing the board of judges. Around of applause please.
Janice : Thank you so much maam. And of course in any competition, there
should always be standards or criteria in which judgement should be based.
May I request the Chairman of the Board of Judges Hon. Gonzalo Abarquez
to read the criteria for judging. A big hand please.
Jaymar: Thank you so much Hon. Abarquez.
Now the long wait is over!

Janice : Wow that was indeed an amazing production number! Sports has
always been the backbone of every School’s Intramurals. Meaning to say that a
competition for Mr. & Ms. Sports Meet will not be complete without the
Sports Attire. At this juncture let us find out who among our candidates will
rock their Sporty Attire with edge and attitude! Let us welcome our candidates
in their Sports Wear Fashion Show!! A big hand please!
Jaymar: Thank you so much candidates. They are not just students with
beauty but with talents as well. I know you all have been waited for this part!
Let us not prolong your excitement and thrill.

They say, a person with beauty will be more appreciated if he/she has the
talent. It’s definitely a plus factor if one is talented. Well done ladies and

Jaymar: And for now, while the judges are computing the scores of our
candidates for Mr. and Ms. Sports Meet. Let’s proceed to the Vocal Solo
Contest. We can hear the angelic voices from the representative of each grade.
But before we will start the competition, may I request again the chairman of
the board judges, Hon. Gonzalo Abarquez to read the criteria for judging.
