PROFILE
I have more than 30 years of exposure in the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Industry, especially, in the areas
of Operational & Technical HSE and QA/QC/Asset Integrity. Career spanned across multinationals:-
Exxon-Mobil followed by BP-Idemitsu-PETRONAS JV, BASF-PETRONAS Chemicals, PETROFIELD, all
in Asia and ABS Consulting, ADNOC Onshore, Atkins and Al Dhafra Petroleum (ADNOC Company) in
the Middle East. Had significant EPC experience having interfaced with EPC Contractors, e.g. Hyundai,
Samsung, Bechtel, AK Kvaerner, Toyo, Lurgi, Huntsman, Worley Parsons, Fluor, Technip, L & T etc.

Currently, as a Freelance HSE Consultant providing services as a Chair for different HSE studies in Oil
and Gas sector. As I am also a qualified CDI-T Inspector (Responsible Care-Marine Terminals), I can

As a member of Corporate HSE, accomplished the following since employment:

• Review and approve all HSE deliverables of EPC Contractor for the Haliba Project.

• Facilitated various HSE studies (PHSER, HAZOP, Bow-Tie, SCEs, etc) for the Project

• Initiated and conducted training on HSEMS, Incident Investigation, Process Safety Management
and Life Safety Rules for all staff and EPC Contractor Management

Division

• Reviewed and updated ADCO’s Risk Management Standard to include the Management of
Change, new identified risks in Operations and potential risks of new projects
• Harmonized the HSE reporting format of the different ADCO assets in line with Corporate HSE
requirements and provided training to staff across the different assets.
• Engaged staff across ADCO’s assets on nurturing HSE Culture development through a series of
HSE programs-behavior based safety, Plant operations risk management and walk the talk
programs
• Custodian for Process Safety (COMAH/QRA/PSSR) for ADCO fields- provided regular
advise on QRA issues affecting the fields, especially, for new projects in existing
concessions, namely Al Hosn Sour Gas Project, new drilling campaigns etc.

• Responsible for QHSE at BPC Site comprising of 12 process plants and infrastructure – 850
employees/2,000 contract staff. (During Construction period, there was about 10000 contract
staff at the peak period). Achieved 15 million safe man hours at project site during construction
phase.

• Liaised and ensured compliance of QHSE standards at Site with Project Main Contractors-
Bechtel, Toyo, Lurgi and Kvaerner. Ensured compliance to OHSAS 18000 and ISO 14000.

• Interfaced and reviewed EPC Contractors FEED, COMAH and participated in HAZOP’s during
detailed engineering. Developed Contractor management procedures for high risk activities that
Requires Job Safety Analysis (JSA).

• Headed a group of Safety executives and technicians in implementation of Safety programs at
