Library Lesson Plan

Week/day/date: 04 to 08-11-2024 Class/KSL: - KG-NUR

Topic:- Storytelling (Four Friends) Int: subject English


(comprehension)

Objective: - Students will be able to recall and discuss key details of the story The Four Friends,
understand the importance of friendship and teamwork, and demonstrate creativity by
coloring, cutting, and assembling characters from the story.

Resources: - Printouts of the story characters, Coloring supplies, Scissors, Glue sticks, hard card
Vocabulary: - vocabulary from the story

Activities: 1. Starter (story recall): Teacher will start the lesson by reminding the students
about "The Four Friends" story. To refresh their memories, the teacher will explain that
before they begin the activity, they will answer a few questions about the story. Teacher will
ask questions like,

• Who were the four friends in the story?


• How did the other animals feel about making the deer their friend?
• What happened to the deer that made his friends worry?
• What lesson did we learn from the story?

Scene Creation: Teacher will divide students into five groups, giving each group the same
set of animal characters (Turtle, Crow, Mouse, Deer, and Hunter) as printouts. Each group
will color, cut out, and paste the characters on a hard card sheet to create a scene from
the story. Teacher will guide and encourage teamwork, with students arranging the scene
collaboratively to represent an important moment, reinforcing the theme of unity.

AFL: - After completing their scenes, each group will present their work to the class, explaining
the scene they created

Wrap up: - Teacher will give positive feedback, praising each group’s teamwork and creativity.
Teacher will then ask students, “How did you feel working together on this project?”
