Important Notes
Multiplication: The shortcut process of continuous addition of a same number is called multiplication.
Multiplicand: The number which is multiplied by another number is called multiplicand.
Multiplier: The number which is used to multiply another number is called multiplier.
Formulae:
Product = multiplicand × multiplier.
Multiplicand = product ÷ multiplier.
Multiplier = product ÷ multiplicand.
If the multiplicand and multiplier are exchanged, product will remain same.
If multiplier or multiplicand is zero (0) then product will be 0.
Generally greater number is considered as multiplicand in a multiplication.
