Fantasy and Fairy Tales
The children will be learning about fantasy and fairy tales in stories. Choosing fairy tales from around the world
helps children appreciate the customs and value systems of others. Improve vocabulary, demonstrate the
structure of stories, and, most importantly, create a love of reading. They show real-life problems in fantastical
settings. All children need to understand that bad things happen in the real world and they can learn to be kind
to others regardless of who they are.
Weather
This month's theme is about reflecting on what gives our lives meaning.
Being a part of something bigger than ourselves and focusing on things that we value is key to our well-being.
So, let's take time to reflect on what we care about this month and keep these things at the front of our minds.
