ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF NATIONAL


LEARNING CAMP – CULMINATING ACTIVITY

The National Learning Camp (NLC) is a comprehensive


intervention strategy designed to provide learners with
opportunities for catch-up learning and holistic development. It
focuses on enhancing their academic competencies, socio-
emotional skills, and values formation through various activities
conducted in a camp-like setting.

The implementation of such activities wasn’t easy. Students


have complained that they need to rest knowing that the school year
has just ended. Hearing those complaints would also indicate that
maybe they were right. However, looking at the bigger scope, little
did they know that teachers were also crying in silence as they
embarked on the challenges, they needed to face whether they liked
it or not. However, despite those negativities and challenges, the
program of the Department of Education has successfully braced
the students and learners as they culminate the NLC last August
25, 2023, at Gamut National High School.

The program started with the Philippine National Anthem


conducted by Genedith M. Banudan, MT-1 and this was followed by
an opening prayer led by Florante V. Namoc, Teacher 1 of GNHS. An
energizer was gracefully led by Grade 7 and 8 campers.
Additionally, Jessica O. Duyan, Camp Master of Grade 7 Duyan
acknowledged the presence of the campers and the guests as well.

In the later part of the program, Nelson M. Maganyan stated


the purpose of the culmination as to why the campers had gathered

with their camp masters. Afterward, Lorna O. Vermon, Principal I of
GNHS gave her

message to the learners and to the teachers. She emphasized the


importance of the Learning camp and how this activity enabled
the campers to fill the learning loss during the time of the pandemic.
She also gave emphasis on the role of every camp master.

In addition, the campers and camp masters received


certificates as their reward for their hard work and dedication to the
activity. Also, Jean C. Banug, acknowledged the persons involved in
the National Learning Camp. Before the program ended, Lorna O.
Vermon announced the important dates for the Brigada Eskwela
2023 and the opening of classes for the school year 2023-2024.
Lastly, Rafy Andrew Santillan led the closing prayer.

The culmination ended successfully, and learners left the


school with huge smiles on their faces as they could finally rest for a
while.
