Date: 22nd August Taught By: Ms. Subject: English Language Class/sec: II (A.B.C) Period:80 Mins Topic: Inside a book Sub-topic: Fiction or non-fiction Objective(s): Students will be able to: • Observe the picture and answer the Qs. Skills focused on: Observing, speaking, identifying, writing. Resources: L.B # 10 A.B # 06 .Flash Cards, Board, marker, duster. Audio track( Opt) Methodology (selected in the subject coordination meeting should be used) Brainstorming of the lesson will be done through asking question like: Q: have you read story books? Q: were there any characters in the story? Introduction of the lesson will be done by the teacher through announcement and by Writing on the board. Objective will be shared and written on the board by the teacher. Explanation of the topic will be done by the teacher. Teacher will explain the pictures and ask questions about them from students and write the feedback on board. Than teacher will read text on book and point to the picture in the book. Teacher will read text and explain the difficult words and can give examples. Teacher will remain patient and supportive of students who are shy and have weak spoken English and ensure they get an equal opportunity to speak. Than teacher will ask to do the Activity 1: students to seated in groups and classify fiction and non-fiction books. Discussion will be done among the students and teacher. Board practice will be done. She will encourage and facilitate the students while doing the written work on activity book. Success criteria will be shared and written on the board. Resources: L.B #11, A.B # 07, books, board, marker. Methodology (selected in the subject coordination meeting should be used) Brainstorming of the lesson will be done through asking question like: Q: which book is your favorite? Q: how many books have you read? Q: Do you like reading books? Introduction of the lesson will be done by the teacher through announcement and by Writing on the board. Objective will be shared and written on the board by the teacher. Explanation of the topic will be done by the teacher. Teacher will explain the pictures on textbook and ask questions about them and write the feedback on the board and also tell the different ways to perform experiment Teacher will set the containers and related material on table. Teacher will explain the whole process and divide students in groups. Teacher will remain patient and supportive of students who are shy and allow them to perform practice individually English and ensure they get an equal opportunity to speak.
