1. INTRODUCTION
This user manual details the steps and process for using the iAMS mobile application for the different ATC
markets i.e., Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Niger, Nigeria, and Uganda.

2. DOWNLOAD, INSTALLATION AND LAUCH THE APPLICATION


1. Go to Google play or Apple Store and search for iAMS Mobile.
2. Install the app with the Acsys logo and iAMS at the bottom. See Figure 1.
3. Launch the iAMS Mobile application to the registration page. See Figure 2

Note:
On launching the application, give the application all the required permissions as they are key in granting site
access i.e., send notifications and determine the relative position of the app.
3. REGISTRATION
For a seamless registration, ensure that your email address is already updated on your user key profile and
follow the following steps.

A) From the registration page, tap on Select Cloud and B) Toggle the protocol to https and input the
on the cloud selection list, tap on Custom server domain name and tap on Ok

For Nigeria leave protocol as http and enter cloud

For others i.e., Burkina Faso, Ghana, Kenya, Niger,
and Uganda toggle protocol to https and enter
cloud as

On taping Ok (B), you will be taken back to the registration page as seen below and enter the remaining
details and tap on Register.

Server ID: Enter the case-sensitive server id as


indicated below.
 For ATC Burkina Faso, input: iamsatcbf
 For ATC Ghana, input: iamsatcgh
 For ATC Kenya, input: iamsatcke
 For ATC Niger, input: iamsatcne
 For ATC Nigeria, input: iamsatcng
 For ATC Uganda, input: iamsatcug
Email ID: Enter the email address that has been
registered on your user key profile.
C) After taping on Register (D), an OTP will be sent to D) If the OTP is verified, you will be prompted to
your email address. Check your email for the OTP set your personal password and tap on Register
and enter it below and tap on Register.

pop up will always appear everytime you log into
the mobile app.

Note: If you get the following responses,


 Server Busy: Call the NOC and provide your email address to be updated on your user key profile.
 You are not an APP User. Call the NOC to grant you App User rights in the system.
 Not able to connect with Relay or Mobile Service: Validate the details you input as Cloud ID and Server ID.
 No access media issued: Call the NOC to have a key issued to you.
4. CODE REQUEST
a) From the landing page, tap on Select Ticket and chose from the
available options i.e. PARN, Routine, and Incident.
b) Enter the Site ID.
c) For ticket type as PARN, enter the PARN ID that starts with a “P”
i.e., P001.
d) For ticket type as Routine, select from the three available
picklists. This is to replace the short codes in the previous mobile
app.
1. Select from the specific access type.
2. Select from the underlying access type.
3. Select from the detailed access type.
e) For ticket type as Incident, enter the Incident ID that start with a
“T” i.e. T001.
f) Enter PIN Code. This is the 4 digit key PIN set for your user key.
g) Tap on Open to show the generated access codes.

Note:
 Ensure that your phone location is enable.
 For those with Bluetooth keys or sites that have Bluetooth locks,
ensure that your have turned on Bluetooh on your phone.
 For effective usage of the Bluetooth technology, ensure that your
phone battery at least 50%.

h) This page will show all access codes that the user access rights to
and have been configured on the site.
i) If your key is set to workflow A, you will see all access codes for
the various assets. If set to workflow B, the page will only show
Front gate access codes.
j) Enter the access codes in the key (AK203 and AK205). For
Bluetooth keys, refer to Bluetooth Operation
k) Tap on I have opened.
Note:
To capture a photo. Leave capture photo checked and follow the
prompts.
l) Site status visibility.
 If your key is set to Workflow A, you will be redirected to a
page where you can reopen or close the site.
 If your key is set to Workflow B, you will be redirected to a
page where you can generate access codes for the remaining
asset types.
The site status visibility page will show the Site name (Site ID) and the Ticket ID. The ticket id is your salesforce
ticket number for Routine, PARN ID for PARN, and Incident ID for Incident ticket types.

CLOSING THE SITE


a) For Workflow A, tap on Close at the bottom.
b) For Workflow B, ensure that you have closed all the child assets before tapping Close against the Front gate
locks.
c) Input or transfer the generated codes, capture a photo is required and tap on I have closed. To take you to
the home page.

Note: In the new mobile app, closing the site, will automatically close the ticket.
5. BLUETOOTH OPERATION
If you are allocated with a Bluetooth key, instead of displaying the page with the access codes, the app will prompt
you to turn on your Bluetooth key to have the code transferred to the key. In the process of code transfer, all key
logs will be uploaded to the server for the NOC visibility in the reports.
6. BEFORE AND AFTER ILLUSTRATIONS
Upon successful mobile app login, the user will be notified of the key status before accessing the home page.
Also, Enable long duration has been disabled by default to prevent users from generating 8-hour access codes.

Routine site access requests changes from short code as Routine ID to a pick list involving selecting from a
specific, underlying, and detailed access type. For more details regarding the pick lists, please contact the NOC.

7. MOBILE APP MENU
From the home page, tap on the hamburger icon i.e., located at the top left part of the phone screen
to display the app menu. The menu might differ from the screen below depending on the user app user
rights.
The menu has the following options that you can
select from.
 Home Page.
 Register Access Point.
 Delete Access Point.
 Unregister Access Media.
 Unblock Access Media.
 Blacklist Access Media.
 Change Pin.
 Offline Mode
 Offline Mode - NOC
 Help.
 Logout.

The menu will also show the following app user details
 Email Address
 Assigned Key Serial Number. If the serial
number starts with VVV, then the user has
been assinged a virtual key.
 Key expiry statu.
7.1. HOME PAGE
Tap on this to show the mobile application home page.

7.2. REGISTER ACCESS POINT


Tap on this to deploy Bluetooth locks to a specific site. This menu option will be visible to Admin
mobile app operators.

7.3. DELETE ACCESS POINT


Tap on this to delete Bluetooth locks from a specific site. This menu option will be visible to Admin
mobile app operators.

7.4. UNREGISTER ACCESS MEDIA


Tap on this to remove the issue key from your user profile. You will no longer be able to access any
site until the NOC issues the key to you.

7.5. UNBLOCK ACCESS MEDIA


Tap on this to generate unblock codes for your key. You can only generate unblock codes for your
key.

7.6. BLACKLIST ACCESS MEDIA


If your key is lost, use this menu option to blacklist the key. The key can only be un-blacklisted by
the NOC.

7.7. CHANGE PIN


Tap on this to change your key PIN.

7.8. OFFLINE MODE


This is for accessing Bluetooth locks in offline mode using the 10-minute access codes.

7.9. OFFLINE MODE – NOC


This is for accessing Bluetooth locks in offline mode using the 8-hour access codes.

7.10. HELP
Tap on this to display the help information if subscribed to.

7.11. LOGOUT
Tap on this to log out of the mobile app. This will take you to the page where you will have to input
your app password or reset the app. Resetting the app will take you to the registration page and
you will have to register the app again.
