The orbit of the Earth

Earth: is formed from 4.6 billion year ago. It`s formation is related to the solar system. Some
scientists believe that the sun, planets and other smaller
bodies in the solar system were formed from a large flammable of hot
swirling gases. The flammable was loosely packed gases, largely made up
of hydrogen and helium, and dust particles. Gradually, the gases and dust
particles drew together because of gravitational pull and formed a thin disc.
Through time, the disc split into rings and kept spinning.

The parts of our solar-system

 In our solar system, there are eight planets, sun, and other smaller bodies like
asteroid, meteoroid and dwarf planets.
Planets: comes from Greek word “Planetia” which means “wanderers”. the
planets revolve around the sun this path is called Orbit. Orbit is a path or way it is
elliptical in shape, when an object revolve on another object the path is called
Orbit.

Types of Planet
They are divided into two by maintaining the distance to the sun.
1. Outer planets: are planets far from the sun and they are called gas giants.
These planes are: Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus.
2. Inner planets: are planets closest to the Sun and they are called Terrestrial
Planets. These planets are: Mars, Venus, Earth, Mercury.
