Assessment Conditions____________________________________________________
Skills in this unit must be demonstrated in a workplace or simulated environment where the
conditions are typical of those in a working environment in this industry.
This includes access to:
 workplace documentation and resources relevant to performance evidence
 organisation information, including organisational structure, goals, objectives and plans.
Assessors of this unit must satisfy the requirements for assessors in applicable vocational
education and training legislation, frameworks and/or standards.
To achieve competency for this unit:

 All assessment activities in this unit must be successfully completed.


 The student must achieve a SATISFACTORY result in all the assessment activities in
this unit to be deemed COMPENTENT.
 Students must perform to the standard as expressed by the competency standards of the
BSB Training Package.
Assessment Attempts and Resubmissions: ___________________________________
Students have up to three attempts to complete assessment tasks satisfactorily. If after the third
attempt the student has not completed the task satisfactory, you must make alternative
arrangements for assessment.
Alternative arrangements may include the student re-enrolling in the unit, participating in
additional training or attempting the task again at a later date, so the skills and knowledge can be
consolidated.
These arrangements should be in accordance with the RTO’s Procedures.

Depending on the task, resubmissions may require students to:


 Resubmit incorrect answers to questions (written tasks and case studies)
 Resubmit all or part of a project, assessor will provide appropriate feedback
 Redo a role-play after being provided with appropriate feedback about their original
performance
 An observation on a second or third attempt that were not completed satisfactorily the
first time, after being provided with appropriate feedback

The student will be provided with an appropriate timeframe in which to resubmit their work.
Providing feedback:

 Constructive feedback will be provided to the student on their performance during the
assessment period. Assessors are not to make any comments on actions undertaken
