How to transfer save files to a new version of the game

In this doc I’m going through the transfer step by step.

For this example I’ll be using Version 0.4.7.6 and 0.4.7.7


So I played 0.4.7.6 and made a lot of saves. And I just downloaded 0.4.7.7
The next step is to extract 0.4.7.7 into a new folder.

After the extraction is done open the old version (in this case 0.4.7.6)

Among other files and folders you will find the “www” folder

Inside that you will find your save folder. Now after you select the folder press ctrl+c or right
click on the folder and select copy.
Now we go back to the root folder where the game versions are.

Open the new version which you have just downloaded and extracted.

Like before, open the “www” folder inside of the new version.

Inside you will find again a save folder (I always include a save which has some content done
as an alternative starting point)
Now don’t select any folder! And press ctrl+v or right click below all folders and then select
paste.
You will be asked if you want to replace files/folders. Click “Yes”

And that’s it. You can now start the new version via the game.exe. Check if all saves are
restored, then you can delete the old version (in this case 0.4.7.6 and of course the zipfile)
