MIN.1 Opening Prayed for a good cooperative term Ms. Grace

MIN.2 General Encouraged members to move through the term Principal
guidelines for with enthusiasm and collaboration.
the new term Laid down the theme of the term “enthusiasm
professionalism and collaboration.
Discouraged people from working alone in all
aspects of work.
Continued with things that will make us keep up
with the theme ie:
 Making children our priority at school.
 Academic excellence and being mindful of
other aspects like love, care etc.
 Positive school culture, this requires to
treat everyone with respect.
 Communication and collaboration. He
mentioned that a class WhatsApp group
should be implemented for
communication that is specifically to the
parents of a given class. He added that
members should use leave forms in case
of stepping outside school during working
hours and these should be filled with full
details.
 Professional growth where members have
to enrich themselves with skills on top of
their qualifications.
 Safety and well-being. Here members are
supposed to be vigilant for anything that
threatens safety and it should be reported
immediately and also urged every one to
adhere to the safety guidelines. Teachers
on duty should keep eyes on children at
break time, lunch and departure time to
avoid unsafe games and accidents.
 Encouraged members to be role models
to the children.
 Reminded members to partner with
parents in their children’s academics by
updating parents about the progress.
 Informed members to be flexible and
adaptive in the new changes because
change is life.
 Teachers should create a joyful learning
environment.
 Added that senior workers should treat
well the new staff and new staff should
always consult the longer serving staff.
MIN.3 Academic Welcomed new members into the school. Head
guidelines Reminded members to focus on renewal, growth academics
and new learning opportunities.
Encouraged members to adapt, embrace and
also be innovative at work.
Advised members to support each other starting
from the askari to the principal, parents,
children and also be mindful of the language
used while helping others
Encouraged members to add skills on
themselves in order to help the children more.
MIN.4 Reactions It was noted that some old members bully new Members
members in the name of team work, jokes and
training. It was reacted upon that members
should work with professionalism towards
others.
MIN.5 AOB The library in Jinja is not well equipped and it Members
was resolved that a safe storage will be
provided at the new location.
A member reacted that in case of wanting to
solve a wrangle between two people, a general
meeting should not be called. Reconciliation
should be among only the victims.
Principal advised that there is information that
shouldn’t miss in offices like school calendar,
termly schedule of activities, school vision,
mission, core values, and picture of the director.
Added that schemes for devotion, CCA’s should
be coordinated and submitted to centre
coordinator, via HOA, to principal.
He reminded all members that the environment
where everyone operates should be
educative(supporting incidental learning); urged
members to design inspirational/informative
displays.
Encouraged members to be time managers and
pro-active in their work.
