5. A line AB of length 65 mm has it’s end A 20 mm infront of the VP. Line is parallel to HP and 20
mm above it. Draw the three Views of the line when elevation length is 55 mm. Find the
inclination of the line with VP and distances of end B from VP.
6. A line AB of length 60 mm is situated on the HP. The end A and B of the line are 20 mm an 50
mm respectively infront of the VP. Draw three views of line. Find the inclination of the line with
VP and its elevation length.
7. The distance between end projectors P and Q of the line PQ of length 75 mm is 50 mm. End P of
line is 10 mm infront of VP and 30 mm above HP. Line is parallel to the HP. Draw three views
of the line. Find inclination of the line with VP and its elevation length.
8. The distance between end projectors P and Q of line PQ is 65 mm. End P of the line is 15 mm
infront of thje VP and 35 mm above HP. End Q of the line is 55 mm infront of the VP and 30
mm above HP. Draw three views of the line. Find inclination of line with VP and its true length.
9. End A of the line AB is on the VP. Line is inclined to VP at 500 and its elevation length is 35
mm. Draw three views of the line AB, when it is situated on the HP. Find true length.
10. End A and B of a line AB is 15 mm and 50 mm respectively infront of the VP. Elevation length
of line is 60 mm and its parallel to the XY line and 15 mm above it. Draw three views of the line
and find its true length and inclination with VP.

Line inclined to both plane (Oblique Line)

is on the HP and 15 mm infront of VP. Draw the projection of line AB, assuming it to be in the
first quadrant. Also locate its Traces.(May 2013 Phase I)
12. A line PQ, 70 mm long is inclined at an angle of 350 to VP. Its end point P is 15 mm above HP
and 15 mm infront of the VP. The plan length of line is 45 mm. Draw the projection of line PQ.
Also locate its Traces.
13. A line AB, 65 mm long is inclined at an angle of 350 to the VP. Its end point A is 5 mm above
HP and 25 mm infront of VP. The end B is 35 mm above HP. Draw the projection of line AB.
Also locate its Traces.
14. A line AB, 65 mm long is inclined at an angle of 350 to the HP. Its end point A is 5 mm above
HP and 25 mm infront of VP. The elevation length of line is 45 mm. Draw the projection of
line AB. Also locate its Traces.
15. A line AB, 65 mm long is inclined at an angle of 350 to the HP. Its end point A is 5 mm above
HP and on the VP. The end B is 45 mm infront of VP. Draw the projection of line AB. Also
locate its Traces.
