3. Mai Chi exhibits a positive outlook and attitude in the classroom. She
is kind, respectful and helpful when interacting with her peers. She
responds to what has been read or discussed in class and as
homework. I am very pleased with Chi’s improvement over the past
few months. Her speaking level has improved considerably. In the
future, I would like to see Chi participate more in class discussions.
It’s always wonderful to hear what she thinks. Chi is able to pick up a
great deal of detailed information during class and listening exercises.
She can read well but needs more practice, I suggest practising with
more short stories or comics. She needs to practice adding
punctuation to her sentences. It’s fantastic having such a kind, hard
working student in my class.
10. Duc Minh exhibits a positive outlook and attitude in the classroom.
He follows directions. In future, I would like to see Minh try his best
to speak English as much as possible in the classroom. Minh is able to
get the general idea from listening exercises, but struggles to
understand new words from context. He can read passages and
identify key themes in his reading. He needs to work on his writing
structure. Minh is doing really well. Just keep going!
13. Gia Phong can sometimes struggle to concentrate in class, but when
he does, he is very good. He also struggles to participate in class
unless he is asked to. In the future, I would like to see Phong using his
new vocabulary while speaking. Phong is able to get the general idea
from listening exercises, but struggles to understand new words from
context. He can read well but needs more practice, I suggest
practising with more short stories or comics. He needs to practice
adding punctuation to his sentences. I am really looking forward to
seeing the progress Phong will continue to make.
