Warm-up
(5 Teacher greets students and asks a few quick questions to

 "How are you?"


 "How is your day going?"

Beginning Teacher asks students’ homework and goes on to explaining

 When do we use present perfect and present perfect
continuous?
 What is the structure of the present perfect and present
perfect continuous tenses?
 What marker words do we use in each of the tenses?

Teacher shows examples on the whiteboard and asks students


to try making their own sentences for each tense.

Middle Group activity: Jeopardy Game play/present-perfect-simple-

Game Format:
Each group takes turns choosing a category and point value.
Present questions where students need to form sentences or
correct mistakes using the appropriate tense.
Award points to groups based on correct answers.
