1. Skim the brochures for two different schools. As you skim:

a. Both brochures advertise the school and include pictures, a school motto, contact
details and head teacher’s name.
b. Similarities
• Both have name and logos.
• Both have slogans.
Differences
• Crawford College is flexible whereas Rodham academy is strict.
• In the photographs, Crawford College shows teachers are more approachable and
involved than Rodham academy.
2. GROUP WORK. Talk about the two brochures.
3. Read the persuasive brochures. Find facts and opinions.
