member as per IS code.
3 Development length and anchorage length should provide as per drawing.
4 Ensure spacing of stirrups as per drawing.
5 Hook length of stirrups should be 10d and 135 degree bend.
6 Stirrups should be provided bottom of column in footing and column beam junction.
7 Ensure extra reinforcement is provided in cutout in slab as per drawing.
8 Ensure U hooks are provided in RCC wall.
9 Lap length should be staggered.
10 Physical and chemical test for steel should be done monthly wise.

2) CONCRETE WORK

1 If cement is more than 6 months should not be used for activity.

2 Measurement box should be used for concrete preparation.
3 Curing by sprinkling of water as soon as starts drying of slab concrete
4 Concreting of columns done upto to beam bottom level.
5 Alignment of column and beam line are checked for plumb after concreting.
6 If RMC used, concrete should be completed within 3 hours of batching.
7 If site mix concrete should be complete with in 30 minutes.
8 Free fall of concrete should not be more than 1 m.
9 Cube register to be maintain in site. 7 days and 14 days strength recorded in register.
10 Slump test should be done for every vehicle have to maintain in RMC batch ticket.
11 RMC batching ticket should be maintain in site.
12 Date should be painted on concrete surface to ensure proper curing.

3) HACKING OF CONCRETE SURFACE

1 One day curing has been done for the surface to be hacked.
2 Hacking should be 25 mm in length and 2 to 3 mm in depth and 125
3 indents per sqft.
4 Cross stitching being done while hacking.
5 Has splatter dash – cement mortar 1:3 to be done between masonry
6 work and concrete structure junctions.
7 Splatter dash to be cured for a minimum period of 3 days.

4) BRICK MASONRY
1 Bricks should be immersed in water before using.
2 For a single brick wall, after every ten courses, a reinforcement
3 concrete band (1:2:4) of 75 mm thickness to be provided.
4 6 to 8 mm in diameter placed parallel to each other connected with
stirrups at 200 mm c/c along the length of the wall.
5 Prepared mortar should be used within 30 minutes of mixing.
6 Mortar should be mixed on MS sheet.
7 Mortar mixing proportion should be done using measurement box.
8 Brick masonry should not be constructed more than 1 meter in day’s
work.
9 The gap between topmost masonry course and beam bottom to be
packed with concrete.(1:2:4, using 12 mm and downsize coarse aggregates)
10 Date of construction should be painted on topmost course of masonry
at the end of days’ work.
11 Seven days curing to be done.
12 Size of mortar joints should not be more than 10 mm.
13 Compression strength and water absorbtion test should be conducted for bricks.

5) MESH FIXING
1 Mesh should be 200 mm in width so that it can cover 100 mm in
concrete and block masonry junction.
2 Mesh should be fixed rigidly with 1.5 inches nail and square GI
washer(20mm*20mm*1mm).
3 Nail can be directly driven into the brick masonry.
4 For RCC members hole should be drilled and rawl plugs are placed
in the holes before nailing.
5 Nails should be driven in staggered manner, spacing of 400 mm c/c.
6 Over the mesh 6 to 8 mm (CM 1:3) plastered with mortar and surface
is made rough for good bonding with plastering. It should be cured for
3 days.
7 Concrete (1:2:4, using 12 mm and downsize coarse aggregates) is
filled wherever chipping /groove cutting work has been done for fixing
electrical and plumbing conduits.
8 100 mm overlap to be done where two meshes meet.

6) PLASTERING
1 Mortar should be mixed on MS sheet by using measurement box.
2 Portable water should be used for plastering purpose.
3 Thermocol sheets of desired size should be cut and placed in fan
box, junction box, electrical box to prevent mortar entering while
plastering.
4 Mortar should be used within 30 to 45 minutes of preparation.
5 LDPE/MS sheet should be spread below the surface to be plastered
for reducing wastage.
6 Plastering should not be done in the skirting area.
7 Halogen lamps is projected on to the plastered surface from one
side, undulation can be easily seen, any rectification should be done
immediately when the plaster is still wet.
8 PVC rings such be provided in circular opening in junction box in
ordered to protects the finished plastering edges while wiring.
