What is Microsoft Office?

Microsoft Office is a suite of applications designed to help


with productivity and completing common tasks on a
computer.

You can create and edit documents containing text and


images, work with data in spreadsheets and databases, and

 Microsoft Word is a text processing application.

 It allows the user to configure the attributes of a document, such as


layout and the styles of content, and to add their content in a variety of
ways and formats to produce documents.
Microsoft Power Point

 Microsoft PowerPoint is commonly used to create presentations using slides.


Though often used to make simple, bullet-pointed presentations, it has a range of
features that can allow a range of media in your presentation. Our guide to

 It is also a great tool for creating posters, as the size of a slide can be changed to suit

 Microsoft Excel is an application used for creating and editing
spreadsheets.

Microsoft Outlook
The Outlook is one of the best applications to manage and send emails.
It allows you to collaborate, communicate and manage your mails in an
efficient manner.

With the Outlook, you can customize your user profile, merge and
manage data in mails, create calendars to schedule your tasks and
perform more advanced tasks through your mails.
Microsoft Office Installation Steps
Open file explorer and locate the Microsoft Office
setup file.
Double-click the Office setup file. You'll find it in your
computer's default download location.

Click Yes when prompted. Doing so will run the setup file
and begin installing Office on your computer.
Choose type of installation.
If you select option customize the following page will get
open. In which you can select the tools to be installed.
The tools which you don’t want to install, right click on that
tool and select not available.
After that click on install now.
After installation get complete you will get following window.
Click on close.
How to repair Microsoft Office?

 If you face a problem with your Microsoft Office product (e.g. Word, Excel or
Outlook crashes or not respond) then the first action to resolve the problem is to
locate and deactivate any additional plugins that can cause your Office product to
malfunction.

 The second troubleshooting method to fix Office problems, is to repair your Office
installation or to completely uninstall and reinstall your Office product.
 Navigate to Programs and Features. To do that:

1. Press simultaneously the Windows image + R keys to open the run command box.

2. Type: appwiz.cpl and click OK.


In Programs and Features, select the Microsoft Office product that installed on your
system and click Change.
 Finally click Repair and follow the rest steps to repair Microsoft Office.

 If after clicking Repair, you receive the "How would you like to repair your Office Programs"
screen, select the Quick Repair option, which checks and replaces the missing or corrupted
files.

 If after the "Quick Repair", the problems doesn't fixed, then choose the Online Repair
option to reinstall your Office product. (requires an Internet connection).
