1.0 SCOPE

This method statement specifically describe the procedure involved in


demolition works to ensure that the works is completed in accordance with
the specification and applicable standard codes of practice and that the
activities are documented.

2.0 MATERIALS

Not applicable

3.0 EQUIPMENT AND RESOURCES

3.1 Machinery/ Equipment

The basic equipment to be used is as follow:

a) Backhoe
b) Backhoe Mounted with Concrete Breaker
c) Crane
d) Oxy-cutter with flash back arrestor
e) Lorry
f) Air compressor
g) Pneumatic breaker/ hacker

3.2 Manpower

Manpower involved:

a) Supervisor
b) Surveyor
c) Machine Operator
d) Lorry Driver
e) General Workers

5.0 QUALITY CONTROL PROCEDURE

On site quality control shall be carried out in accordance with the


inspection and test plan.

6.0 SAFETY, HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT

6.1 Work will be carried out according to the Project safety


Requirement.

6.2 Provide signboards to warn workers and publics of dangers


associated with construction works.

6.3 Proper and adequate provisions of Temporary Signage and


Barricades at diversion and temporary haul need as necessary.
