What relevant qualifications or experience do you have in teaching ESL

Remotely?
- Since I graduated during pandemic, I completed my 360 hours teaching
internship through virtual teaching. As English is my specialization, the
first experienced I had in teaching English through remote was during my
teaching internship. The second experienced was just this year 2024. After
I passed the September 2023, Licensure Examination professional
teachers, I was hired as Esl teacher remotely. I had been teaching for 3
months
How do you approach lesson planning and curriculum development?
- As a 21st century teacher, I believed in student-centered learning. I
approach lesson planning and curriculum development by prioritizing
student’s needs and interests. Aligning with standards, and incorporating
diverse teaching methods and technology integration since students has
their own way of learning.
What teaching methodologies or techniques do you prefer to use, and
why?
- As I believed in student centered learning. I prefer to use the Experiential
Learning and Differentiated Instruction. These methods drive students to
increase their motivation to learn especially the English language which
they can apply in their life situation.

How do you assess and track student progress and adjust your
teaching accordingly?
- I assess student’s progress through their performance by giving regular
feedback, data analysis, and formative/summative assessments. My adjustment
in teaching instruction is based on student’s individual needs.
How do you incorporate technology and online resources into your
teaching?
- I simply integrate technology through online lessons, online tools,
educational software or virtual resources just to enhance student learning and
engagement in my lesson.
How do you manage student behavior and engagement in a remote
classroom setting?
- Managing remote classroom is a bit challenging. As effective teacher, I
manage remote classroom behavior through giving the rules and regulations to
have a clear expectations, interactive classroom, and regular check-ins.
How do you build rapport and establish a positive classroom culture
with remote students?
- To tell you honestly, one of my best skills as a teacher or as a human is to
make friends easily, I build rapport with remote students through having
interactions with them, having an open communication which my students
feel comfortable, and most of all I promoted positive remote environment
by respecting each other’s culture.

Have you worked with students from diverse cultural or linguistic


backgrounds before, and how has that influenced your teaching
approach?
- Yes, here in the Philippines, we have the same origins but we have
different cultures and languages. As a Licensed English teacher. I
practiced inclusive. I strive to create an inclusive space for all students by
adapting different instruction.
How do you communicate and collaborate with parents, other teachers,
or administrators in a remote teaching environment?
- I communicate and collaborate remotely through using online tools such
as, video meetings, online portals, email updates and etc.
Do you have any questions or concerns about teaching ESL remotely,
and how would you address them?
- As an Esl teacher, I am fully- aware about the technicalities and concerns
that I may face during teaching specifically when it comes to culture and
language barrier. But I address these with technology checks and continuous
learning.
Tell me what you're looking for in this position.
Are you OK with teaching 2-3hours/day?
- I'm simply looking for an engaging remote teaching role with a supportive
team/family. Yes, I'm comfortable with 2-3 hours/day it is really convenient
for me. As long as my students learn from me.
Aside from work from home is convenient for me, when it comes to time. I'm
drawn to this role because it aligns with my passions, skills, and values. I'm
excited about the opportunity to:

I'm confident my expertise and enthusiasm will enable me to excel in this

What makes me stand out from others?


As former Executive Assistant in a local bank and a Sangguniang Kabataan (SK)
government secretary who excelled in multitasking, leadership, and customer
service. Now, I help others minimize their workload to maintain a good work/life
balance.

Reasons why you need me or What makes me stand out from others?

-My ability to communicate effectively makes it easy for me to establish rapport


with customers. I love socialization, so it is really easy for me to build rapport
with someone since I am extrovert or what talkative person.

-I am flexible when it comes to seeking out new experiences and am capable of


learning new skills and information that can enhance my life performance.
-My work experiences are far from my degree. I am fan of reading, so I adapt
this idea of continuous learning. When I applied in bank here in the Philippines, I
actually don’t have knowledge when it comes to executive assistant but through
my dedication and hard work in work, the president might be observed it, so I
appointed as her executive ASSISTANT.

Last is my Positive attitude: Maintaining a positive outlook, even when


customers are frustrated. Since my degree is a teacher, I adopt this trait as
being positive at all time even how unrespectful or frustrated the customer is, I
still calm and handle it with care.
Washing face/hands- 12 liters
Brushing teeth- 8 liters

Washing dishes- 60 liters

Shower- 50 liters

Washing clothes- 120 liters

I use a lot of water in daily life by drinking, cooking, watering plants, and cleaning.

Among these uses, I think I can save in washing clothes
