Faith is the Victory

Memory Verse:
Genesis 15:6 (KJV)
"And he believed in the Lord; and He counted it to him for righteousness."

This highlights Abraham's faith in God.

Abraham demonstrated his faith in God, and in response to Abraham's faith, God formally declares
that Abraham is righteous. It emphasizes that Abraham's belief in God's promises was regarded as
righteousness. This verse holds an important place in biblical theology, particularly in discussions
about faith and justification.

Activities:

Beginners:
Abraham Says
- Setup: Similar to Simon Says, with a twist focused on aspects of Abraham’s life.
- How to Play: The "Abraham" leader gives commands related to moves or actions (e.g., "Abraham says
clap your hands if you believe"). If "Abraham" gives a command without the phrase "Abraham says," those
who follow are out!

Middlers:
In The Tent
- Setup: This is a twist on the classic game "Duck, Duck, Goose."
- How to Play: One person is "Abraham," and they walk around a circle of players (the "tent"). When they
tap someone, they say, "You're Sarah" and both must run around the circle to return to their spot. Whoever
gets back first sits down, while the other joins Abraham. The game continues until only one player is left.

Juniors:
Picture puzzle
- Print the picture, cut it, and challenge participants to put it back together.
