INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGIES
(Grammar & LSRW based activities)
• Spin the wheel: This activity will be conducted in the class using the given link
https://wheelofnames.com/ The faculty will display different themes on the projector using the
virtual wheel. Faculty will spin the wheel for each student who will narrate a small anecdote or a
fictional story based on the theme. This will help them use past tense effectively.

• Error Hunt: Faculty will form groups in the class. Each group will write a collaborative cover
letter and other teams will identify the errors in it. This will help them learn from each other and
improve their writing skills

• Panel Tech Discussion: Arrange panel discussions on relevant tech topics, with students taking
on different roles. This encourages collaborative speaking and the ability to engage in a group
conversation
INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGIES
(Grammar & LSRW based activities)
• World Landmark Exhibition: Assign different landmarks to small groups and have them
create virtual exhibitions using tools like Google Slides. Each group can include information
about the landmark's history, significance, and interesting facts. Then, they present their
exhibitions to the class, fostering a rich discussion about various landmarks

• News Reporter Relay: Students form pairs. One partner becomes a news reporter (active
voice), reporting an event. The other partner transforms the report into reported speech using
passive voice. Switch roles for practice. Discuss changes and share reports with the class.

• Corporate Storytelling: Students will pick a company/start up of their choice and elaborate
its journey to success for example success story of KFC
INNOVATIVE PEDAGOGICAL STRATEGY
(Grammar & LSRW based activities)
• Career Success Recipe – Students research and prepare one minute presentations on key ingredients for a successful
career in the field of MCA. Each presentation focuses on topics like networking, continuous learning, effective
communication, and problem-solving. This activity not only hones their speaking skills but also provides valuable
insights into the professional aspects of their field.

• Tense Challenge Board Game: Create a board game where players advance by correctly using past continuous, simple
past, or present perfect continuous in sentences. Encourages competition and reinforces tense understanding.

• Tech Product Review: Assign each student or group a popular tech product (like a smartphone, laptop, or app), and
have them create a review. They can discuss features, usability, pros, and cons, all while using descriptive language and
critical thinking. Encourage them to incorporate multimedia elements like sound effects or brief audio clips related to
the product. If you want to leverage online platforms, you could create a collaborative document where students
contribute to a live review of a recent movie, game, or any other subject of interest. This can be done using tools like
Google Docs or a shared online platform. It allows them to practice writing collaboratively and gives everyone a chance
to express their opinions.
