Human interaction is an important part of society and development Part of human


interaction is inherently noticing differences between one another. These differences can
include color of skin, differences of religion and physical stature. In certain instances,
when strong hatred, violence and prejudice are presented toward a group of people based
on the color of their skin, it becomes racism.
Racism has always been in our society; although small segments of the population say
that racism has been entirely terminated, it still persists today.
Martin Luther king was one of the greatest leaders in the Civil Rights Movement. He
was best known for improving civil rights by using non-violent civil disobedience ., Dr. King
managed to work hard to make people understand that not only blacks, but that all races
should have been always treated equally to white Human people. He gave speeches to
encourage African Americans to protest without using violence. He viewed segregation as
“unjust” and he strived for justice, unity and love between every person despite the color of
their skin.
Today, people in the majority group make far fewer overt aggressive actions towards
minorities. When racist acts do occur, they are widely refused rather than being careless as
they were in the past however, the impact of negative images horror have inherited from
the past is more difficult to eradicate. A lack of tolerance of hostile behaviours is not
