Decimal to percent
To write the decimal number to percent
form,we may follow the two methods below:
EXAMPLE 4
Just multiply the decimal number by 100 then
affix th % symbol.

0.01 0.01x100 1%
EXAMPLE 5
A shortcut would be moving the decimal point
two places to the right and affix the % symbol.

Fraction to percent
To change a fraction to percent, change into
decimal first by dividing the numerator by the
denominator. Then move the decimal point two
places to the right and affix % symbol.
