This chapter introduces you to the concept of sets. You will learn how to identify
sets from a group of objects, the two notations in writing a set, the different set
relations, set operations, and how to solve problems involving sets using a Venn
diagram. The lesson on solving problems involving sets using a Venn diagram puts
emphasis on the real-life application of sets. At the end of this chapter, you will
realize the importance of sets in real life.
