 The root word of Communication is the Latin word

 “Communicare”

Verbal communication
• Uses spoken words to convey messages, thoughts, and ideas.
• Pitch and tone can convey emotions and how the speaker views
the listener. (Both Oral and Written Communication)
• Non-verbal communication
• Includes facial expressions, body movement, gestures, eye
contact, touch, space, pitch, and tone. Non-verbal cues can often
add meaning and context to verbal communication.
Visual communication
Uses images, symbols, and graphics to convey messages. Visual
communication can include charts, photographs, sketches,
video, graphs, and emojis and GIFs. Visual communication can
be used to supplement verbal communication, making it easier
to understand
