Ask students to express a problem that they usually encountering as adolescent, what are
the impacts on these challenges can have on various aspects of their lives.
In their journal, the students will reflect and give several coping activities they will do to
alleviate their problems and challenges they’re encountering.
STRUCTURED VALUES ACTIVITY:
The teachers will play a short video clip about Mental Health Minute

C. Engagement GROUP SHARING ACTIVITY
The student will share their insight or take away from the video they watch.
Have students pair up and discuss one of their biggest problems they are facing today
(Family, friends, schools, etc.) His/her partner will give some coping activities/ advise
which they can use to solve or at least alleviate their feeling towards the challenges they
are facing. After, the students will present the things they discussed (selected students)
The students will create slogan that shows the importance of MENTAL HEALTH
AWARENESS
Teacher will discuss the different Mental Health Issues and Diagnosed Health Condition
MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES: refer to common challenges or difficulties that individuals may experience in
their daily lives.
Stress and Anxiety: Feeling overwhelmed, worried, or restless due to work, school, or personal life pressures.
Depression: Experiencing persistent feelings of sadness, hopelessness, or loss of interest in activities.
Relationship Problems: Struggling with conflicts, communication issues, or difficulties in maintaining healthy
relationships.
Grief and Loss: Coping with the death of a loved one or experiencing significant life changes.
Diagnosed mental health conditions are more severe and persistent than common mental
health issues.
