Nowadays, consumers in many countries could consume food from over the world. I believe this
would have more positive consequences for both consumers and farmers as producers.

For consumers, globalization could increase food security. This would make food more accessible and
affordable. People may consume essential nutritional diets all the time, with fair price, even from
seasonal crops, leading to achieve healthy life. For example, Indonesians could purchase rice at a
stable price even in the dry season since it might be supplied from other countries.

Globalization on food would also influence the supply chain. This could lead to the linkage of the
market broader, increasing farmers' opportunities to afford wider consumers. They would have many
options to sell their crops, which could increase profits. For instance, because of the influence of
globalization, banana peasants could have opportunities to export their cultivation products through
e-commerce. They could sell the fruits and the leaves overseas, with small quantities and more
expensive, affecting the profits they get.
In conclusion, the globalization on foods could lead to food security for consumers, having many
options to consume dietary diversity. On the other side, this also influences on profitability of
farmers.
