the Personnel’s KSAs on Gender Equality, Equity, and Resiliency.” We are excited to have you
here, and we hope this day will be insightful and meaningful. Kindly proceed to the registration

our community.

Now, it’s time to get to know everyone in the room. To lead us in this fun and interactive
introduction of participants, let’s welcome Mrs. Rae Anne A. Jumarang, Teacher II from
Calatagan Senior High School.

PART II:
8:30 - 10:00 AM: Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment

a wonderful start, and now it’s time to transition into the heart of today’s training—Part II.
To begin Part II, our first session will focus on a crucial topic: Gender Equality and Women’s
Empowerment. This topic is central to understanding how we can foster environments that not
only provide equal opportunities but also empower individuals to rise above societal barriers.
And now, it is my honor to introduce our distinguished speaker for this session. She is an Attorney
III from the Schools Division Office of Batangas Province, a passionate advocate for gender
justice and women’s rights. With her legal expertise and commitment to advancing gender
equality, we are sure to gain invaluable insights.

Welcome back, everyone! I hope you all had a satisfying lunch and some time to relax. We’re now
ready to proceed with the afternoon sessions of our training.
Our next topic is one that is both timely and significant in today’s society: RA 11313, the Safe
Spaces Act, also known as the Bawal Bastos Law. Understanding the scope and implications of
this law is critical for creating safer and more respectful environments, whether at work, school, or
in the community.
To help us better understand this law, we are fortunate to have with us, Officer IV from the
Schools Division Office of Batangas Province. With his knowledge and experience, we’ll gain
insights on how to ensure compliance with this law and create environments where everyone feels
safe and respected.
