HYPERAUTOMATION

★ The term hyperautomation was coined in 2019 by the

IT research and advisory firm Gartner.

★ According to Gartner, hyperautomation is: “the

combination of multiple machine learning,
packaged software and automation tools to deliver
work” and it “deals with the application of
advanced technologies including AI and machine
learning to increasingly automate processes and
augment humans.”
Hyperautomation vs Automation
Ecosystem of Hyperautomation

● Digitalization: It is getting your all processes digitalised that is getting everything into
bits. It is everything from converting your processes automated using software to
storing data on storage devices that is bringing everything as bits.
● Network connectivity: We all must agree that the Internet now a day is vital
everything from mobile to software are accessible via the internet. With data and
applications shifting to cloud Internet is necessary. It is also a fundamental component
for Hyperautomation.
● Robotic Process Automation (RPA): It is a type of automation in which robots do
daily repeated tasks to make your work easy and reliable. RPA has this capability of
mimicking tasks done by humans. RPA is an integral part of Hyperautomation.
● Artificial Intelligence: Artificial Intelligence is developing systems that can analyse
and perform operations on their own concerning the environment. They are mainly
comprised of three things sensors, environment and Learning Model.
● Machine Learning:Machine Learning (ML) can be referred to as automating and
improving the learning process of computers, based on their experiences without being
actually programmed i.e. without any human assistance.
How can we get started with hyperautomation?

Hyperautomation requires selection of the right tools and technologies

for the challenge at hand"-Gartner

● Identify the problem or need for automation

● Select the appropriate automation tools
● Manage and optimize scalability
● Build your Hyperautomtion Ecosystem
● Measure performance to align with goals and outcomes
EXAMPLE-
Benefits of Hyperautomation

● Fast and efficient and error-free results

● Enhances the adoption of AI and machine learning into business processes

● Reduce the technical expertise needed to configure and manage automation

tools and automation solutions

● Make better business decisions, identify areas for improvement and enhance
customer experience by capturing more data and providing insights on that
data.
● Helps prioritize future automation efforts
APPLICATIONS

● Asset Tracking to track the inventories of their company and even

their items
● Manufacturing Industries
● Medical industry for tissue grafting
● Military and police industries for installing new equipment, virtual
military training, and maintain security systems
Challenges to Hyperautomation

● Data security
● Selecting appropriate automation tools
● Manual augmentation required
● High costs
● No Hyperautomation software
