Butterfly

Tools required:

• For best results use 180gm paper KEY


• Scissors or craft knife Cut
• Glue or tape
• String
Mountain Fold

tip Use the ruler and either the back side (ie blunt)

no ink to score along the fold lines before folding

METHOD

Note that a blank butterfly is included at the end so you can design your own.

• Cut out each of the butterflies and score along the fold lines as indicated.

• Mountain Fold each butterfly in half, then Valley Fold either side of the body.

• Lift each cut section the wings.

• Cut out the Butterfly Antenna strips and fold in half. Tightly roll each end of the
strip to about one third of the way down, then glue the antenna onto the back
of the butterfly’s head.

• Thread string through the wing tips where marked with a dot.

• Arrange the butterflies along the string, gluing or taping the string on
the back of each butterfly to keep them in place.

Ladybugs

YOU WILL NEED


Cardboard, glue,
tape, string

in half. Tape the end of
the string to the back fold
line of one cut ladybug.
