Chapter 1

Mental Models #1-14

M
ENTAL MODEL #1: Status is a zero-sum
game in every hierarchy.

W HEN ENGAGED in zero-sum negotiation over price, be


polite. Charm the other party. The more they like you, the
more inclined they will be to give you a better price and
better deal terms, even when doing so goes against their
own best interests. 1
High extroversion helps with charming people; thereby
enhancing performance in !nance, law, and sales (these are
all professions where you need to be good with people; you
can‘t be a socially awkward autistic genius).

MENTAL MODEL #2: Every hierarchy is a pyramid


scheme. Every hierarchy has a pyramid structure.
Refer to every hierarchy as a ‘Power hierarchy’ and the

world will make more sense. There are many ways to


play, many ways to win.

MENTAL MODEL #3: How you rank in the macro


hierarchy is a matter of life and death. When people are
competing for status and power, understand that what
they are really competing over is "Probability of Survival".
In the game of power the stakes are astronomical. Life
at the top of the hierarchy is not slightly better than life at
the bottom. It is astronomically better. A billionaire does
not have slightly more wealth than a homeless man, he is
astronomically more wealth.

MENTAL MODEL #4: Wealth is Pareto distributed.


Power and status are Pareto distributed. To be average is to
be a loser. There is no real ‘middle‘; only towards the top
and towards the bottom.

Towards the top of the hierarchy2 = top 20%.


Towards the bottom of the hierarchy =
bottom 80%.

MENTAL MODEL #5: Everyone thinks the pinnacle of


hierarchies is a relaxing vacation, and they are wrong.
Hierarchy Apexes are dangerous places. Play your cards
wrong up there, and you might end up like Jeffrey Epstein.
At the bottom of the Marco hierarchy, life is dangerous,

since resources are scarce (poverty). At the pinnacle of the


macro hierarchy, life is dangerous, since you will be dealing
with intelligent predators (High IQ Psychopaths and
Sociopaths/Narcissists).
If you want to have a life that is as easy and relaxing as
possible, stay in the middle of the hierarchy, or on the
high end but NOT at the pinnacle.
To be clear, I am not at the apex of the American macro
hierarchy and I never have been, but I have met the people
up there, and be assured that THEIR LIVES ARE NOT
SMOOTH AND EASY; THEIR LIVES ARE A RELENTLESS
WAR.

MENTAL MODEL #6: Generally speaking, upward


mobility is a false promise that powerful people offer to
those at the bottom of the hierarchy, in an attempt to
placate them.
Rags to riches stories are sensational precisely because
they are rare. In most societies, the promise of upward
mobility is nothing more than a false promise used to
placate young men at the bottom of the dominance
hierarchy.

MENTAL MODEL #7: Your status in the hierarchy is


directly in!uenced by and corresponds to your ability to
hide secrets.
If you have nothing to hide, then you have nothing to
fear. That‘s the problem. Everyone has something to hide,
and so everyone has something to fear. Nobody on the

planet has a reputation that would still be good if all their


secrets were to be revealed.
Authoritarian Regimes and Extortionists know this,
which is why they go out of their way to !nd people‘s
secrets to use them as blackmail. [Again], your status in the
hierarchy is directly in"uenced by and corresponds to your
ability to hide secrets.

MENTAL MODEL #8: If you are going to say politically


incorrect things and you want to transcend the hier‐
archy as high as possible you need to be anonymous.

MENTAL MODEL #9: If you are powerful (top 0.1% of


the macro dominance hierarchy) the only people you
can trust are those who were loyal to you before you
became powerful. Everyone else is loyal to your power, not
you. You must assume that.

MENTAL MODEL #10: The traits needed to transcend


the corporate hierarchy as an employee, and the traits
needed to succeed as an entrepreneur, have a lot of
overlap. If you can‘t get rich from a salary, you won‘t get
rich being an entrepreneur. The traits needed to reach a
high level, high pay position, are the same traits needed to
be your own boss:

stress tolerance,
cunning and;
capacity to solve complex problems.

MENTAL MODEL #11: If you are towards the bottom


of a hierarchy, you have little or nothing to lose, execute
high-risk high reward strategies until you end up
towards the top, or dead. Death is nothing. To live and
to be powerless is to die every day. If your status is
currently low (you are low in the macro hierarchy), and you
publicly start executing high-risk high reward strategies,
your status will instantly be raised.

MENTAL MODEL #12: Charming Low-Status People is


incredibly easy; Compliment them. Low-Status People
are very vulnerable to compliments since to them they are
so scarce; many of them have not received a compliment in
years.
Charming people who are Low Status (Poor) is incred‐
ibly easy. Simply treat them with basic human decency, and
they will love you. Low-Status People are so accustomed to
being treated with disdain, that if you show them even the
tiniest amount of respect, they will be overwhelmed with
feelings of gratitude.

MENTAL MODEL #13: Words indicate thinking.

“Words Don‘t Matter. Only Actions Matter.”


WRONG: A person's words matter, because their words

(speech) are an indication of their thoughts (thinking), and


their thinking...will in!uence their actions.

MENTAL MODEL #14: Women don't care, Men don't


care There is a difference though; most men are *hon‐
est* about the fact that they don't care. Women main‐
tain the pretence they care with super"cial charm
(politeness) and virtue signalling.
If they are publicly talking about how virtuous they are,
the probability they are actually virtuous is very low. This
may sound 'Obvious', yet most people miss this.

1. In negotiations, charming the other party is critical. If they like you,


they will offer you better deal terms simply because they like you.
Never insult the other party. If you must reject an offer they give, do
so gently and politely.
2. As globalization, consolidation, and BIG [corporations] swallow up
the world, hierarchies consolidate too.

How to Impress

Trump are designed to appeal to Low IQ Poor People. 1 They

are narcissistic, loud, boisterous, and endlessly mention


how rich they are. The personas displayed by Elon Musk
and Robert Greene are both designed to appeal to High IQ
Rich People.
They never mention the fact that they are rich (it is
simply quietly obvious that they have more Wealth than
99.9% of Americans). There is not a hint of narcissism or
arrogance in their personality. They never raise their voice
in anger or boast.

Bottom 90% of income, Bottom 90% Intelligence and Income.

Mental Model #16:


How to Raise Your
Status

people ask “What do you do?” they are really
asking “What’s your status within society?”
Wealth and appearances are status-increasing factors.

W HY DO people ask "What do you do for a living?”

It is a very consequential question. They are


asking "Is your status in the macro hierarchy
high enough, are you powerful enough, to
make it worth it for me to spend time talking
to you?"

Gaining Status in Different Cultures

Status can vary from one group or culture to another. In


some cultures, engaging in violence (particularly against
people the group considers to be its enemy) wins one

status, while in others, engaging in violence causes one to


lose status.

If you are an employee in a corporation,


engaging in violence will cause you to lose
status (almost certainly it will result in you
being !red or ostracized from the
group/organization).
If you are a member of a criminal organization
(say, a gang) and you engage in violence
(particularly against someone the organization
considers to be an enemy, such as a rival gang
member), that will cause you to lose status.

STATUS INCREASING FACTORS

That being said, there are things that will earn a person's
status within virtually any group or culture:

Wealth
Appearances

In any group, being rich (having a lot of wealth)


automatically grants you at least above-average status.
In any group, being good-looking automatically grants you
at least above average status.

Mental Model #17:


Predictors of Life
Success

ental Model #17: Life is a lottery. 12The 2 best
predictors of long-term life success are
IQ/Intelligence, and Energy/Industri‐
ousness.

H IGH IQ + H IGH E NERGY /I NDUSTRIOUSNESS = Insurance


Against Poverty. If you are smart and capable of working
hard, the probability you will be poor (towards the bottom
of the macro hierarchy) is practically zero. You will at
minimum be top 20%.

The traits needed to become a Successful Banker,


Lawyer, Salesmen, Businessmen, Criminal, Drug Dealer
are the same:

High IQ;
High Cunning/People Skills;
High Energy/Industriousness;

High Stress/Risk Tolerance;


High Testosterone;
Low Agreeableness;
High Ruthlessness.

I JUDGE a man by the choices he makes, not his


circumstances, or his status in the macro dominance hier‐
archy. Why? His circumstances and his status are deter‐
mined by a million factors, some in his control, most out of
his control. The only thing in his control is his choices.
People suffering due to factors outside their control
deserve all the compassion and assistance you can give
them. People who manufacture victimhood out of nothing,
for the sake of winning status in a victim hierarchy, deserve
your disdain.

If you are towards the top of the hierarchy, you


have a lot to lose, be risk-averse, maintain your
current position.
If you are High IQ + High Cunning, Charming
Rich People (The Powerful, Top 0.1% of the
Macro Hierarchy) will be easy. They will look at
you, and feel "He is just like me!" Everyone likes
people who are similar to them, and the
Powerful is the epitome of this, not the
exception.
If you have good physical health, wealth, and
high status in the dominance hierarchy you live
in you will be happy by default. If you have bad
physical health and are poor, and low status in

the dominance hierarchy you live in you will be


miserable by default.

There is a recipe for success. To be clear, ‘Success‘


means:

Getting Rich (High Net Worth/Income)


Attaining High Status In The Macro Dominance
Hierarchy
Seizing Power The recipe is *not* optimistic;

It mostly boils down to being born into the correct


circumstances.

If a man has a net worth of $10 million+ he has


enemies nobody makes it that high in the
hierarchy without prevailing in intense con!ict
against others.
Law 23 Addendum: To get rich, or transcend a
macro dominance hierarchy, you do NOT need a
‘Diverse Skillset‘. You need to be EXTREMELY
GOOD AT 1 THING; THAT IS BEING VALUABLE.

1. IQ = 100% luck;
Energy = Heavily determined by luck.
2. Life success = high income, net worth, wealth, power, status in the
macro dominance hierarchy.

Mental Model #18: The


Psychology of
Charm

ental Model #18: Few people want to !nd
the truth. Most people just want their
biases and feelings validated.

M OST PEOPLE ARE NOT interested in real intellectual exchange


or getting a more accurate view of reality. They just want to
**Feel Smart**. As such, let them do most of the talking,
and appear to agree with everything they say, even if you
know it is false.
For the sake of charming people, appear to agree with
their opinions, and do not tell the truth to validate their
biases and their feelings.
To charm people, tell them things that appeal to their
sensibilities, do not tell them the truth if the truth will
offend their sensibilities. As a matter of habit, you should
hide your displeasure and fake your contentment. For the
sake of charming people, this is mandatory. When inter‐
acting with superiors, this is mandatory.

R ANKING HIGH ON ‘E NTHUSIASM ‘ makes a person good at


charming people; most people !nd an enthusiastic
person to be charming.

When doing logical reasoning, facts and


substance are all that matter, tone and emotion
mean nothing.
When charming and persuading people, facts
and substance often mean very little and tone
and emotion mean everything.

Logic vs Charm: For the sake of charming people you


should appear ‘optimistic‘. People like optimists.

How to Influence
Others

ental Model #19: The Machiavellian
perspective asserts that most people are
motivated primarily by self-interest. 1

M ACHIAVELLIANS ARE individuals capable of doing the things


that psychology professors at university wish they could
do: charm people, persuade people, deceive people, and
read body language effectively. Machiavellians are individ‐
uals capable of doing what Psychologists wish they could
do; read people‘s personalities accurately, read social situa‐
tions accurately, read body language and vocal tonality
accurately, regulate their own body language and vocal
tonality, charm people.
Cold reading and Charm are the most important
social competencies in any machiavellian‘s toolbox.

Cold Reading is making accurate deductions


regarding the psychologies of other people.

Charm means getting people to like and trust


you. The seemingly banal encounters of
everyday life should be used to hone these skills.

If you are in an environment where charming people is


critical to your survival, then ranking high on extroversion
(being a highly enthusiastic extrovert) is a good thing.
Being skilled in the manipulation of the psychology and
behavior of others is key to succeeding at almost anything.
"The Machiavellian Perspective," also known as "Reality.”

Mental Model #20: The


Psychopathic Edge

ental Model #20: Great !nanciers, lawyers,
salesmen, businessmen, politicians, and
con men are very often psychopathic. 1

“P SYCHOPATHS ARE impulsive and have poor emotional control.”


Wrong. That‘s Narcissists/Sociopaths (particularly the
dumber ones....those with IQs Below 120). Psychopaths,
particularly the Intelligent ones (IQ 120+), tend to be cold
and calculating. They are NOT impulsive.
Dumb Psychopaths impulsively engage in violence and
end up as inmates in prisons. Intelligent Psychopaths Own
and Manage prisons.
There are many types of Monsters in this world. The
most dangerous ones are well dressed, polite, and particu‐
larly pleasant when you have a discussion with them. Intel‐
ligent Psychopaths: Bill Clinton, Jeffrey Epstein, Frank
Underwood (Fictional).

are very often depressed, alcoholics, and suicidal.

Mental Model #21:


Psychopaths in Plain
Sight

ental Model #21: Psychopathic men are
usually masters of blending in; they are very
good at concealing their psychopathy. Most
people who know them would report that they are ‘nor‐
mal‘ and ‘likeable‘; nothing particularly unusual about
them.

A UTISTIC MEN STAND OUT . When you interact with an autist,


it‘s obvious within the !rst 60 seconds of interaction that
their personality isn‘t normal; they are clearly an outlier.
Hopelessly socially awkward. Not cunning at all. Autistic
men are easy to detect.
Narcissistic men are easy to detect, but not as much
as autistic men. Psychopathic men are hard to detect; you
usually don‘t notice them until you feel a knife in your back.
Ted Bundy and Jordan Belfort are men who are both
narcissistic and psychopathic. Vladimir Putin is a man who
is psychopathic, but not narcissistic.

N ARCISSISTIC MEN ARE a paradox in the following sense; they


are volatile, yet also predictable. They can go from enthusi‐
astic to angry, and back again, very quickly. Yet at the same
time, predicting their behavior is simple: simply ask "What
would the stereotypical high school bully do?"

High IQ low narcissism psychopath types like


Vladimir Putin make for good leaders. The
“I‘M AN ALPHA YOU‘RE A BETA
LMAOOOOOOO” crowd do not. —Illimitable
Man
High IQ psychopaths are master tacticians and
strategists Narcissists are not.

Psychopaths (who are not narcissistic), don‘t have this


problem; they will take whatever course of action is most
tactically effective, regardless of whether it strokes or
offends their ego.
To give an example, a high IQ psychopath would have
no problem applying Law 1 when dealing with a superior.
However, a narcissist would have dif"culty applying Law 1;
narcissists instinctively shine as bright as possible, even if it
means outshining their master.
A narcissistic man will escalate the con#ict because his
ego compels him to do so. A rational man (say a psychopath
or an autist) will walk away without hesitation.

For Career:

If you are a high IQ autist, consider going into


Engineering/STEM. You could excel there. If you

are a high IQ psychopath, consider going into


Finance/Law/Sales. You could excel there.
Men who are high IQ psychopaths tend to excel
in !nance, law, and sales.
Men who are high IQ psychopaths, and also
men who are high IQ narcissists, tend to excel at
sales. Psychopaths and Narcissists are often very
charismatic; good at charming people.

Narcissists are neurotic, psychopaths are calm.

Narcissistic men are far more common than psycho‐


pathic men. You will have more narcissistic men in your
contact list than you have psychopathic men, simply
because they are more common in the general population.
Psychopathic men are very different from narcissistic
men. While narcissists are egotistical (arrogant on the
outside and neurotic on the inside) psychopathic men are
cold and detached. They experience zero compassion, and
zero fear.

Mental Model #22:


Have great targets.

ental Model #22: You will encounter people
who are poorer than you, and smarter and
more cunning than you. Do NOT underesti‐
mate them. You will encounter people who are richer
than you, who are also dumber and less cunning than
you. They make great targets.

T HERE I S N OT A 100% Correlation Between Intelligence,


Wisdom, Cunning, and Wealth. This sounds ‘Obvious‘, yet
many Americans I speak with don‘t understand it. They
assume Intelligence = Wealth = Cunning ....Correlation
100%. 1

CULTURAL DIFFERENCES IN LEVELS OF CUNNING

People raised in Low Trust Societies have higher


Cunning levels, on average than people raised in High
Trust Societies. Example: China Is A Very Low Trust
Society Japan Is A High Trust Society Result? The Average
Chinese...!s WAY More Cunning Than The Average Japanese
If you think that The Chinese are trustworthy, you are
naive. Seriously. You are Low Cunning. You need to hire a
Machiavellian Advisor because if left to your own devices,
you will get destroyed.
Most Chinese People In China Or From China Are NOT
Trustworthy. China is a LOW TRUST SOCIETY. One conse‐
quence of this is that virtually everyone raised in that
society is Cunning and Not Trustworthy.
The children of The Chinese Ruling Class are being
trained in the arts of cunning and prepared to take over
the planet. The children of The American Class are
being taught to spend their time worrying about Micro
Aggression and Intersectionality. I wonder who
will win.

1. Yes, Intelligence, Cunning, and Wealth all correlate positively [to


some extent]. Speci"cally, Intelligence and Wealth Correlate, and
also Cunning [but] I consider the correlation to be.....weak.
[Without industriousness, intelligence is wasted].

Mental Model #23:


Cultivate High Stress
Tolerance

ental Model #23: You want to the sky-high
stress tolerance of a psychopath.

TRAINING AND DEVELOPING PSYCHOPATHY

If you are a neurotypical man with high testosterone levels


and below-average neurutocism (above average stress
tolerance), you will never have the *in!nite* stress toler‐
ance of a psychopath (psychopaths are incapable of experi‐
encing fear/stress/nerutocisim). However, you can train
yourself to have a very high stress tolerance, so high
that you and a psychopath are almost indistinguishable.
Very, very, very few men get the genetics to be a
psychopath with an in!nite stress tolerance like Vladimir
Putin. However, do what you can to maximize your stress
tolerance (minimize your neuroticism).
The !ctional Thomas Shelby (Peaky Blinders) displays a
stress tolerance that is as high as a man‘s stress tolerance

can be, without them being psychopathic. (Extremely Low


Neuroticism...Not Zero Like A Psychopath‘s)
No With neurotypical men, if you expose them to
enough violence (or any psychologically traumatizing stim‐
uli), it is inevitable that sooner or later they will develop
PTSD. Psychopaths are immune to this.
Military units in World War 1 that were to exposed to
endless combat (weeks or months of trench warfare
without any breaks) had 98%+ of their soldiers develop
‘Shell Shock‘ (PTSD). 98% was not a typo. The other 2%
were psychopathic.
What does Con"dent (but NOT Narcissistic), cold and
detached, calm, look like? Vladimir Putin, Frank Under‐
wood (Fictional Example).

You do NOT want the Ruthlessness of a Psychopath, but


you do want the Con!dence (Sky High-Stress Toler‐
ance) of a Psychopath.

Mental Model #24: Do


not reveal your
cunning.

ental Model #24: Do Not Talk About
Cunning, In Front Of Other People Do Not
Talk About Human Psychology, Social
Dynamics, Strategy, Or Manipulation.
Why?
Most people foolishly con!ate Cunning with Evil, even
though in reality Cunning is a morally neutral tool, that can
be used for good or for evil.
Most people foolishly con!ate Cunning with Evil.
Cunning (euphemistically called “People Skills”) is a
morally neutral tool; like an axe, it can be used for good or
for evil.
Similarly, if you are skilled in Cunning (you are good at
reading people‘s individual psychologies, and manipu‐
lating them). ‘Cunning‘ = Manipulating human psychology
and behavior in a way you see #t. You can use Cunning to
talk depressed teenagers out of suicide, or you can use it to
swindle old people out of their live savings. You can use
Cunning to talk a suicidal person out of killing themselves,
or you can use it to talk old people into handing over their

life savings in exchange for nothing (as con men do).


Psychiatrists do the former. Con Men do the latter.
Most people don‘t realize this. With most people, if they
realize you are skilled in Cunning (you have a deep under‐
standing of psychology, and you are good at predicting and
manipulating people‘s behaviors), they will assume you are
evil, even if you have no malicious intentions.

Evil = harming others for your own gain


Cunning = People Skills = Social Skills

Most people think that only petty egotistical narcissists


care about their relative level of Status, and most people are
Fools.

When people perceive your Status is High, they


become more willing to do you favors, and more
hesitant to harm you.
Conversely, when people perceive your Status is
Low, they become less willing to do you favors,
and less hesitant to harm you.

The reason is simple; people are more willing to do you


favors when your Status is perceived as high, because
having high Status makes them assume you wield the
power to repay a favor in a meaningful way. Similarly,
people are more hesitant to harm you when your Status is
percieved as high, because having high Status makes them
assume you wield the power to retaliate in a meaningful
way.
Conversely, people are less willing to do you favors
when your Status is perceived as low, because having low
Status makes them assume you do NOT wield the power to
repay a favor in a meaningful way (so it is not worth it for
them to spend time and resources helping you). Similarly,
people are less hesitant to harm you when your Status is
percieved as low, because having low Status makes them

than because it makes making money easier (as detailed
above, making money being easier makes your odds of
survival better, since more wealth increases your odds of
survival).

LIKEABILITY HAS LIFE AND DEATH


CONSEQUENCES.

Likeability is similar to Status, in that having high


levels of it makes people more willing to do you favors,
and more hesitant to harm you, while having low levels
of it makes people less willing to do you favors, and less
hesitant to harm you.
As with Status, Likeability making people more willing
to do you favors and more hesitant to harm you, improved
your odds of survival in both our ancestral environment
(hunter-gatherer tribes), and our modern environment
(America, 1990 - 2022).

BIOCHEMISTRY AND HIERARCHIES:

Your brain closely tracks what your relative status is in the


hierarchy you live in, and assumes that if you are low status
you are in danger (causing your cortisol levels to rise) and if

you are high status you are safe (causing your cortisol levels
to fall).
The assumption that life at the top of the hierarchy is
safe and life at the bottom of the hierarchy is dangerous
is an accurate assumption in most hierarchies most of
the time (see the ‘Life and Death Stakes’ section above).
Your brain also regulates the release of serotonin based
on what it detects your relative status to be; when you are
high status, your brain detects this and releases high levels
of serotonin. When you are low status, your brain detects
this and restricts the release of serotonin
The biochemical state that is typical of depression, and
the biochemical state that is caused by having low status in
a hierarchy, are identical; low serotonin. As the 48 Laws
said, “…powerlessness will make you miserable.” Notably,
the part of the brain that tracks your relative status is older
and more deeply engrained than the part of your brain that
tells your lungs to breathe.

SO FAR AS THE HUMAN MIND IS CONCERNED, THE


GAME OF POWER IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN AIR.

There are those who will claim they do not care about their
relative status or relative level of wealth; they care only
about their absolute level of wealth.
Such people are worthy of laughter; they are lying,
mostly to themselves. Whether you care to admit it or not,
the serotonergic system in your brain cares intensely about
your relative status.
High serotonin tends to inhibit emotions, both positive
and negative. The practical consequence is that high status
people with their high serotonin levels !nd it easier to

restrain both their enthusiasm and their fear; they feel


positive and negative emotions, but mildly enough such
that they can still control themselves.
On the other hand, low status people with their low

they are more likely to get carried away with enthusiasm
and do something that feels good in the moment but that
they later regret. They are also more likely to become over‐
whelmed with fear.
If you have never lived toward the bottom of a macro
dominance hierarchy, then at least part of your own
psychology is alien to you. You don’t know what you would
be like if you were at the bottom of a hierarchy and low
serotonin; hopefully you will never !nd out.
Some men are calm and con!dent when they are high
status, and humble yet determined when they are low
status. Such men deserve your respect. Sadly, most men are
narcissistic when they are high status and resentful when
they are low status.

strophe. As such you must be very careful in choosing
which woman to marry. There are few decisions that can
irreversibly change the course of your life; this is one of
them. There is no sure"re way to guarantee the woman you
marry will be a good wife, but there are certain metrics to
screen for that shift the odds in your favor.

their lifetime than women who have no brothers (though
the evidence for this is not concrete). There are various
explanations as to why Male Relative Presence correlates
negatively with Partner Count.

One is that in our evolutionary past, women


with no male relatives present were desperate to
!nd a man (sexual partner) since they'd be in
desperate need of a man's resources. A woman
with a father/brother present can get resources
from him, but a woman who is fatherless and
brotherless does not have this option, so she is
desperate to !nd a boyfriend who she can get
resources from.
Another explanation is that when a woman
does have male relatives present, they are likely
to pressure any sexual partner (boyfriend) she
has to marry her, or to at least not outright
abandon her. Over the course of a lifetime, this
would keep her total number of sexual partners
down.

The actionable information is this: if a potential bride


was raised fatherless or has a very bad relationship with

is what you want in a wife.

A woman who ranks high on Conscientiousness is likely to

W OMAN IS NAMED Z ELDA . Man who is an unsuitable husband


prospect is named Keith. Man who is a suitable husband
prospect is named David.
Zelda is hopelessly in love with Keith because Keith is a
good looking and cunning bastard; blinded by dopamine
oxytocin, she fails to realize that being with Keith is a waste
of her time and marrying him would wreck her life. Mean‐
while, David tries to get Zelda's attention, but she is unre‐
ceptive to him since her mind is already occupied by Keith.
Suppose Zelda is your sister or your daughter; you want to
save her.

What do you do?

Very little; you don't need to go nuclear, nothing


grandiose. All you have to do is get Keith to change his
behavior, in a manner that she will "nd unattractive. The
alteration in his behavior can be tiny. You just need to get
Keith to exhibit enough bad behavior, such that your little
sister Zelda stops viewing him as 'AMAZING’. For example,
you could put mechanisms to dial Keith's stress levels up to
the max, until he either panics with fear, or explodes in
anger; in either case, Zelda will no longer view him as
perfect.

What mechanisms could you put in place?

Take Keith out for a drive with you, to 'help' you with
some annoying task. Do it on a hot summer day, and tell

him the air conditioning in the car is broken (literally HEAT


UP his situation). When you return....ask him to help you
with ANOTHER annoying task.
Make both tasks (the one you drive to AND the one you
ask him for when you return) seemingly small; reasonable
requests (so that when Zelda hears about them, she is not
annoyed that you asked Keith for these things).
RIG THE TASKS (the 2 favors you ask Keith for) so that
SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH THEM. To rig them, you
could make both favors involve Keith asking for some other
person's assistance, and you could GET THAT PERSON TO
AGREE TO *NOT* HELP KEITH, OR TO DO SO WITH
GREAT GRUMBLING, in advance without anyone else's
knowledge. Sooner or later, Keith will hit the limit of his
stress tolerance, and most likely exhibit anger towards you,
or perhaps even towards Zelda. THAT IS ENOUGH.
You don't need to get Zelda to the point where she
*hates* Keith. You just need her to *not perceive he is
perfect; everything she ever dreamed of*. You just need to
break the spell of infatuation Keith has over her. Once the
spell of infatuation is broken, speaking to Zelda and
persuading her that she should leave Keith to be with David
is going to be A LOT EASIER
The dif!culty level will have gone from 'Impossible' to
'Doable with patient and gentle persuasion’. Again, this is
easier than you think, because the bar is set pretty low; you
don't need to get Zelda to outright hate Keith, you just need
to make it such that she no longer perceives "Keith is a
perfect human being; he is everything I ever dreamed of."

NOTE:

The strategy is simple, and practical; get Keith to alter

**LESS THAN PERFECT**. You don't need to make him look
terrible; just not quite as good as a God. There is an endless
list of ways you could devise to get Keith to alter his behav‐

The example I have detailed above is simply the one I
used. Don't overestimate the 'Keith' in such a situation.
Chances are, he is not a 130 IQ Machiavellian Analyzer
who carefully thinks through ever possible scenario.
Rather, he is just a young, good looking, delinquent...who is
cunning enough to charm your younger sister into
becoming infatuated with him.

1. So women are not only naturally predisposed to feel entitled to the


best for no logical reason whatsoever, irrespective of their own
value and what they bring to the table, but are furthermore suscep‐

tells you to. Only initiate or escalate con!ict IF you calcu‐
late the bene#ts of doing so outweigh the costs. An ego
boost does not count as a bene!t, an insult does not
count as a cost.
This sounds obvious yet most people never #gure it out.
Suppose you are walking down the street, and a man
insults you. The correct response? Do nothing Walk away
without a word. If you must speak with him, remain
perfectly polite; it makes you seem like the sane one, to any
onlookers, and it may help calm him down. If you escalate
the con#ict, insulting him back, and potentially initiate
a !st !ght, you are a fool.
The bene#t of escalating such a con!ict is zero, the cost
could be wasted time, a trip to the hospital, or a trip to

prison...all for nothing but your ego. Something that Intelli‐


gent Psychopaths (who are NOT narcissistic) and Intelli‐
gent Autists have in common is that they are not egotistical.

Your ego is irrelevant. Outcomes are all that matter.
Never refuse to engage in a course of action that would be
strategically bene#cial, because it offends your ego. Never
carry out a course of action that is strategically counterpro‐
ductive, because it boosts your ego.

people died young. As such, if a person somehow made it to

case; almost everyone makes it to old age alive,

MOST FORMS OF POWER BOIL DOWN TO EITHER A


CARROT OR A STICK.

A carrot is a potential reward; do as I say or I will


deny you X.
A stick is a potential harm; do as I say or you will
suffer Y.

A steep power imbalance is one where the gap between the


power of one party and the other is so big that it’s undeni‐
ably. A shallow power imbalance is one where there is a gap
between the power of one party and the other, but the gap
isn’t obvious; it is quite plausible to maintain the pretense
that the power of each party is equal. Zero power imbal‐
ance is a case where the power each party wields over the
other is equal or close to equal.
In modern America, carrot power is far more common
than stick power. An ancient king ruled over peasants by
saying “Do what I say, or you will be killed” (extreme stick
power). A modern capitalist rules over his wage slaves by
saying “Do what I say, or you will be denied your wages,
and starve to death” (extreme carrot power). Thinking of
carrot power as gentle and stick power as harsh is fool‐
ish. Both carrot and stick power can have deadly conse‐
quences.
In any relationship where there is a steep power imbal‐
ance, one party is a master and the other is a slave. If you
are ever in a situation where another person wields the
power to destroy your life, and you wield no signi"cant
power over them, you are a slave to them. In modern
America nobody is ever called a ‘slave’, but there are

Rule Breakage

ental Model #47: The higher you move up in
any hierarchy, the more rules you can break.
And at the apex, rules aren‘t broken. They
are made.

VIOLENT REVOLUTIONS

If I am in the bottom 80% of the hierarchy and am


convinced upward mobility is impossible under the current
status quo, I want a revolution or civil war tomorrow.
Upward mobility is greatest during and after a violent
collapse. Why?
Violent Collapse is essentially a "Reset" button on
The Game of Power.
The motive for launching a Violent Revolution or Civil
War is simple: doing so eliminates the current power struc‐
ture (the current dominance hierarchy); it eliminates the
current Elites, thereby leaving freshly vacant Elite Posi‐

tions. Those currently occupying positions towards the top


of the hierarchy are eliminated, and anyone who is intelli‐

neutralize ambitious high IQ men a few
rungs below the hierarchy. 1
2. The crimes of the ruling class are broadcast to
the masses give oxygen/manpower to open
insurrection.

“CM, do you think America should have


another Revolution?”

That depends. If I am towards the top of The American


Hierarchy, then NO. If I am towards the bottom, then VIVA
LA REVOLUTION!!!
The reason people at the bottom of hierarchies are
angered by intense inequality is simple; as inequality
rises, opportunities for upward mobility become *rar‐
er*. Rising up a hierarchy becomes less and less likely, as
the hierarchy becomes steeper (more unequal).

Intuitively, this does make sense. In a hierarchy


with gentle inequality, the distance between
one level of the hierarchy and the level above it
is small, so transcending up 1 level is very
achievable.
On the other hand... In a hierarchy with intense
inequality, the distance between one level of
the hierarchy and the level above it is huge, so

transcending up 1 level is difficult or


impossible.

1. Testosterone drives ambition. Serotonin is how your body tracks


your current rank in the dominance hierarchy you live in. High

M OST PEOPLES DECISIONS , actions, and opinions, are NOT the


result of careful calculation or logical reasoning. Most
people allow themselves to be launched into decisions,
actions, and opinions by their emotions and instincts, with
zero careful calculation.
People who carefully examine all the relevant evidence,
and who thoroughly calculate all the possibilities, before
entering into a decision or action, or formulating their
opinion are rare.
Most people's opinions and decisions have not been
carefully thought through. With most people their opinions
and decisions were formulated impulsively and driven by
instinct and emotion not careful logical reasoning.
If you start from the premise that people have good
reason for holding the opinions they hold and making the

decisions they make you are starting from the incorrect


premise. Most people do NOT have good reason for holding

Most people are overly judgmental. Most people judge a
person based on the choices they have made. They think a
person‘s choices are a re!ection of their character. Usually,
this is incorrect. Usually, a person‘s choices are less a
re!ection of their character and more a re!ection of the
options they had available at the time. 1

1. Real victims, people suffering due to factors beyond their control,


deserve compassion and assistance. Fake victims, people who
manufacture victimhood out of nothing, for the sake of winning
Status in a victimhood hierarchy, deserve to be laughed at and

JOB INTERVIEWS SELECT FOR LIKEABILITY:

Likeability has zero correlation with the ability to perform


well in most jobs. Sales jobs would be a notable exception.
The data on unstructured (job) interviews indicate
quite clearly that they‘re discriminatory. If you‘re tall,
assertive, good-looking, and charming, then you‘re much
more likely to do well in an interview.
This may sound ‘Obvious‘, yet in practice, most fail to
distinguish between these things; most people assume that

H ISTORY .

If he has a history of screwing people over, he is dangerous.

Perhaps he is psychopathic.

Whatever the case may be, exercise caution in dealing


with him, or avoid him. 1

Psychopaths experience zero compassion, and


zero fear.
They rank extremely low on Agreeableness and
Neuroticism.
They have a capacity for Ruthlessness and Stress
Tolerance of *In!nity*.
The hallmark of psychopathy is this; harming
others, while experiencing zero emotion at all.

Normal people feel guilt after harming someone, and


usually they need to be motivated by anger or hatred (or
desperation) to be willing to harm someone in the !rst
place. Psychopathic men feel *zero* guilt after harming
someone, and they need not feel any anger, or hatred, or
desperation to be suf!ciently motivated to harm someone
in the !rst place. The point: If you see a man in"ict harm
upon others, while exhibiting zero anger, hatred, or fear in

N ARCISSISTIC MEN STICK OUT MORE BRAZENLY than psychopathic

Narcissistic men are vain. They are arrogant yet, thin
skinned. An angry silver back gorilla on the outside, and
insecure and ghossipy 13 year old girl on the inside. If he is
arrogant yet also thin skinned, [or] if he explodes in rage
when insulted, he is narcissistic.
If he values worldly wealth (wealth, status, power)
very highly, and goes out of his way to show off that he
is rich/high status, and also that he sleeps with beau‐
tiful women, he is narcissistic.
If his rhetoric sounds something like...

"I am high status. You are low status.


I am a king. You're a peasant.
I drive a Ferrari. You drive a bicycle."

He is narcissistic.
Narcissistic men tend to be *not spiritual*. You are
never going to encounter a narcissistic man who spends his
free time reading philosophy. Narcissists are deeply

Subtle Duping Delight, in the laughter:

Intelligent Psychopaths often have a very distinct type


of laughter. Their laughter sounds menacing, the way a
cartoon villain‘s laughter is.
Not all psychopaths have laughter which sounds
unusual, but it is a common enough pattern I have
witnessed in intelligent psychopaths such that it is worth
mentioning.

Zero-Fear/Stress Response:

Psychopaths experience zero fear. They have zero stress


response, when they encounter stressful stimuli that would
cause a normal person to experience fear (stress, a cortisol
increase, a heart rate increase) they feel nothing.
If you notice a man exhibits *Zero-Fear* even in situa‐
tions that would make a normal person panic, know this is
a warning sign for psychopathy. To be fair, not everyone
with a high-stress tolerance is psychopathic.

Ruthless Indifference, Zero Compassion, Zero Guilt:

The hallmark of Psychopathy is complete indifference


regarding the suffering of other people, zero compassion for
people who are suffering, and zero guilt about in"icting
harm or suffering upon others.

Sadistic Tendencies:

Many Psychopathy has sadistic tendencies; they enjoy


in"icting harm upon others. Only stupid psychopaths
express their sadistic tendencies publicly; they know they

have to conceal the fact that they are evil, to NOT get ostra‐
cized. However, even the intelligent psychopaths often get

age...there is a very high chance he is psychopathic. Each

Neccesity of
Charming

F
or charming people, 1 vs 1, have calm and
respectable con!dence, not ostentatious and loud
narcissism.
It is a good idea to *appear* to be grateful to people,
even if you are not because you know they helped you
purely to serve their own interests because doing so enables
you to charm them, thus making it easier to get favors from
them again in the future.
When trying to appeal to the masses, whether to charm
them (make them like you), or persuade them, or manipu‐
late them, you need your message to be SIMPLE and
EMOTIONALLY CHARGED. Example: ‘Make America
Great Again‘.
Use charm even on people who hate you and who
are actively harming you. Emanate warmth and polite‐
ness, even when a person harms or insults you. This wins
you respect. It also wins you love. Both of these encourage
them to be helpful to you instead of harmful. If they‘re
leaving you, it makes them more inclined to re—establish a
