We introduce the brandnew Quick MAD 5500 free spool reel in Realtree AP camouage design, which is a great addition to the extremely popular big pit MAD 7000 FS. Thanks to the use of duraluminium we have achieved designing a free spool reel that is very compact, ultralight weight, and has minimum tolerances. Still it offers superb free spool capabilities and an unmatched ghting drag. The patented OOS system provides a superb line lay under all conditions and the drag as well as the Free Spool function is micro adjustable. We have used the latest in lamination technoligies that has resulted in a fantastic sharp 3D appearance of the most popular Realtree AP camouage pattern.

RETRO IS FASHION!
Many continental carp anglers start following the trend of wanting to go back to shing with lighter carp rods that are equipped with a full cork handle. Therefore we have developed two fantastic carp rods with an ultra light blank and super slim cork handle. Moreover, we have equipped the Oldskool rods with special US-designed ALPS lightweight aluminium reel seats. The Oldskool rods are available in two carefully selected test curve ranges: a light one that has a test curve of in between 2 and 2,5 lbs, and a heavier version that lies in between 2,5 to 3 lbs. As nowadays all expensive handbuilt English rods, we have equipped the lighter version with one more guide on the handle part that helps the guideing the line extremely smooth so that the entire parabolic action of the rod can be used.

How to improve something that already is near to perfect? This question we asked ourselves when starting to develop a brand new successor for our most popular MAD rod series D-FENDER. This name has established itself in the market and has become wellknown as a premium carp rod for a fair price. The most important improvements we achieved, was reducing the blank diameter signicantly and giving it an extremely fast action for rods in this price range. Next to that we gave it an even more exclusive appearance with a moulded line clip, woven carbon reel seat spacer and smart looking japanese shrink wrapping around the handle. Also the artwork of the rods has been kept to the absolute minimum, with the small D-FENDER2 logo positioned on the side of the rear grip part! MAD D-FENDER II TELE CARP

Many travelling carp anglers have contacted us during the last years with the question why we do not offer a telescopic version of our extremely popular D-Fender II rods. The main reason was that it is very difcult to satisfy the MAD team in terms of action, thickness of the blank, and appearance. Most telescopic rods are very thick and have an inferior action in comparison with 2 piece rods. LANDING NET
This is a typical MAD product! Years of experience, close contact with fellow carp cracks, and the outstanding engineering background of D.A.M. result in products that make the life of us carp anglers much easier. The Medusa landing net has a built-in light function with 4 long life LEDs in its stable ABS-graphite head with soft touch rubber paint surface! This way you can always precisely illuminate the area just in front of the net even when you forgot to put on the head lamp! The big challenge was to make the spreader block waterproof. Even though this will never be the case in practice, we have tested the head under water for periods that lasted over two hours! The ultra light carbon handle part is also divided into two parts of 90 cm like our existing landing nets and has the same great nish as the popular Medusa rods.

LEADSHOT RIG
Here a lead shot is clamped onto a short piece of braided line positioned on the outside of the hook bend. This extra weight makes the hook stay low in the mouth of the carp. GRIPPER HOOK
The MAD Gripper has a perfectly bended shaped shank that gives it unique anti-eject features and makes it an excellent hook for pop-up shing and anti-blow out rigs! Almost every carp that was landed during the test period had the hook positioned exactly in the lower lip which is the hardest part of the mouth. The Gripper is suitable for any kind of water, but works especially well on high pressured ones.

Guardian Mesh is an incredible innovative product that will open up numerous new shing possibilities for you! The principle is not new and inspired by both saltwater and sturgeon shing. To make life at the banks easier for our fellow carp friends, we have designed this monster tent called MAD Vertigo! Our main goal was to create a carp bivvy that is high enough for an average angler to stand in upright, so that it is the perfect companion for long comfortable sessions. With a maximum height of just under 2,00 meters it is a real giant amongst carp tents. Its dimensions make it extremely easy to enter which is especially a big advantage when it is raining. Next to that it makes it very light to stand up inside, that is great for changing your clothes. Next to a set of 6 ultra-bright long-life LEDs, there is an adjust-able multicolor LED placed in the center. Finally we have specialist hangers in the MAD program! The series consists of 2 aircraft aluminium body versions in a fat and slim design, and an additional Feather Light slim body version that is made from rock hard ABS material. All hangers are equipped with a fantastic line clip that serves all types of shing thanks to its unique double feature design. For normal, distance, or tight line shing, use it as a running hanger where the top ball clip is resting on the line. For slack line shing or when facing windy conditions, clip the line in the lower gripper part. The MAD CAT Ghost Klong rig is a complete novelty for this kind of shing! This very effective system is developed by one of our local test anglers and together with him we even improved it further. This rig is the secret weapon when the catsh are lazy, not hungry, or simply because they are trained not to take the regular klong system anymore to avoid being caught. The rig is 100 cm long and consists of 0,90 mm high abrasion resistant uorocarbon with a breaking strength of 45 kg! In comparison with conventional rig material it is practically not visible for the sh! On the upper single hook you rig some fat worms. Approximately 2 cm underneath the hook a double rattle is placed that gives the system acoustic attraction.
