Introduction
The ending of World War II marked the beginning of a
phenomenal period of growth for Pentecostalism around the world.
The movement that began a half-century earlier, marked by a
powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the renewal of spiritual
gifts in the church, suddenly found itself being launched into the
limelight of mainstream Christian denominationalism.
This remarkable surge of new converts has been credited to
the onset of the greatest healing revival ever witnessed in the
history of the world. It was an event that began with the visitation
of an Angel and a gift of healing that was so outstanding that it
caused multitudes to declare, "Bible days are here again!"
The Dictionary of Pentecostal and Charismatic
Movements provides the following synopsis of this milestone in
church history: "The person universally acknowledged as the
revival's "father" and "pacesetter" was William Branham. The
sudden appearance of his miraculous healing campaigns in 1946
set off a spiritual explosion in the Pentecostal movement which was
to move to Main Street, U.S.A., by the 1950s and give birth to the
broader charismatic movement in the 1960s, which currently

In many ways, William Branham seemed an unlikely

candidate to become the recipient of this miraculous gift that would
shake the world. He was born into a family that was barely able to
provide for his physical needs, and was lacking in any Christian
influence. His formal education ended at the seventh grade, which
left him speaking the language of the common people throughout
his life.
But instead of an education, God equipped him with the
compelling voice of a storyteller, and even though his grammar was
often unconventional, it left no doubt as to the meaning of his
words. His preaching style was not developed in a seminary, but he
used illustrations that came from his life's experiences, especially
the time he spent in the wilderness observing nature.
Even when his healing ministry became legendary, he never
adopted a lavish lifestyle or promoted himself above others.
Throughout his life, William Branham displayed the kind of
simplicity and humility that marks greatness in men.
The thoughts that are presented in this book have been
selected from a library of over one thousand sermons that were
recorded during the ministry of this extraordinary servant of God.

Healing Thoughts

In order to stay with God, stay gentle; God is gentle.

In order to stay with God, stay with love; God is love.
Stay meek. Don't ever be self-sufficient; always rely upon Him.
Never use your own mind; take His thoughts.
Let His thoughts be your thoughts, and take them into your carnal
mind and repeat them over and over.
Say, "Oh God, take all my doubt away and let my thoughts be Your
thoughts."
Just cast away the thought of sickness. Take God's healing
thoughts; let them become your thoughts.

A Prayer For Healing

Now is the time to be healed, no matter what's wrong

with you. I want you to pray this prayer after me:
Almighty God, Creator of Heavens and earth, Author of
everlasting Life, Giver of every good gift, send mercy to me, through
Thy Son Jesus. I now believe, through the preaching of the Word,
through the working of the Spirit. I believe that Christ is present,
and I now accept Him as my Healer. I will serve You, Lord, as
long as I live. And I promise You, from this night henceforth, I
accept my healing, and I call those things that are, as though they
are not, because I believe Your Word.
Help me, Lord. In Jesus' Name.
THY LOVING KINDNESS

How simple, when you can just believe God's Word and
take Him at what He says. Isn't it simple? Just love, for if you love
Him, love in your heart for God will create faith.
SPEAK TO THE ROCK

Equipped For The Journey

When you're planted in Christ Jesus, everything that you
have need of in earth's journey is in you when you receive the
Holy Spirit. And the only thing you have to do is drink, drink, and
push out, push out. Just drink until you can't drink no more. If you
have need of Divine healing, go to God's Word and drink from it
until you push it out. If you need more of God, just keep drinking,
pushing out.
Christ is the inexhaustible Fountain of Life, and if you're
planted in Him, the only thing you have to do is drink of His

goodness, and push out whatever you have need of in this earth's
journey. It's all drinking, resting, peace. It's not what you struggle
and strive and pull at. You defeat the very purpose that you're
representing when you do that.

THE INNER VEIL

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my
expectation is from him.

The Finished Work

Divine healing is not something that's just a totem pole, or a
hocus-pocus. It's a Divine Truth, written in the Word of God, and
confirmed by the Holy Spirit. It's not limited to any denomination,
people, creed, or color; it's to whosoever will. Just like salvation, it
is a product of a finished work that we receive by faith in the great
vicarious suffering and triumphant resurrection of the Lord Jesus.
GREATER THAN SOLOMON IS HERE
Faith is not a myth. Neither is it something that you've just
imagined. Faith is positive. Faith is the substance - just the same as
this glass is, just the same as this book is - faith is the substance of
things hoped for. Oh blessed be His Holy Name! It is the evidence
of things you do not see, but you believe it.
When God has spoken it, God has to keep His Word. And
every promise is yours, if you can receive it as yours.
SPEAK TO THIS MOUNTAIN
The Operation
I wish to say this, my friends: I am not a healer; I cannot heal
people. I don't believe there is any man, doctor, hospital, or

medicine that can heal people. I believe that healing lays in God
alone.
Now, a doctor can move an obstruction; he can set a bone,
pull a tooth, take out a tumor. But that doesn't heal. That merely
moves the obstruction. God does the healing. Healing is creation.
It's to create and to rebuild, and no medicine can rebuild your body.
Only God alone can rebuild. That's right. God is the one who
heals.
THEN JESUS CAME
We've got to turn loose of every shadow and sail towards
God's Eternal promise. Oh, if we'll do that, Jesus will perform an
operation upon our faith, taking away all the doubt, all the fears,
all the worry, all the sin, everything there is. And then, when our
faith is clearly operated on, we'll come out a new creature. We're
different then.
We need an operation.
FAITH IS OUR VICTORY

No Room For Cowards

You know, God loves to test us. He loves to see the reaction
of our faith.
Did you know that God likes to see how you will react?
When you say, "Oh, Lord, I believe you. Thou art my Savior. I
believe that You are the Healer; I believe that You are the one who
gives the Holy Spirit and the things that I am requiring. You are the
God who gives that."
When you confess all your sins and promise God what you
will do if He will let you get well, and then, because it doesn't
happen, you run off like a coward somewhere, God can't use
that. There's no way for Him to use you. There's no way for Him to
answer you, because He only answers by faith. Then, all of a

sudden, you go away and He can't answer. But real true faith
stands there, being sure that God is. Be certain that He is.
BE CERTAIN OF GOD
God is not a coward, and He can't use cowards. Afraid to
testify of your healing, or your salvation? He can't use you.
You're no good, see.
SHOW US THE FATHER. IT'LL SATISFY

What do you see?

Lift up your eyes. What do you see? Your enemy? Or do
you see your Savior? What are you looking at this morning?
If you're sick and Your doctor that says you can't get well,
lift up your eyes to the cross, where He was wounded for our
transgressions, with His stripes we were healed. Don't look at
what the doctor says; he's working in science. Faith works in the
realm of spirit and God.
BY FAITH MOSES
It doesn't matter how gloomy it looks. You could say, "Well,
it looks like I'm still sick." That doesn't matter. It's just Angels'
wings gathered together. That's all. It's God in a form of blessing. If
it looks gloomy to you, draw a little closer to it and look at it
again. See if it isn't God standing there, keeping His Word.
BE CERTAIN OF GOD

The Test
Jesus spoke and said, "Be not afraid. It is I."
Peter said, "If it's you, Lord, give me just a little test."
Ask and you shall receive!

He gave him the test. And when Peter tried to do it in

himself, he failed (and every other man will fail). He got his eyes
off of Jesus and began to look at how big the waves were. When he
saw the waves were contrary, be began to sink.
Every man that will look at his affliction after being
prayed for is sure to sink. You don't look at your affliction. You
keep your eyes on the Promise-giver, the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep
your eyes on His Word. He is the one who promised, and He
watches over it to perform it. He keeps it in the hollow of His hand,
and in the depths of His heart it's imbedded. His Word has to be
true.
Get your mind off of your sickness and off of your troubles.
Keep your eyes on Jesus.
JAIRUS, A SECRET BELIEVER

Testify
You go forth testifying that you believe it, and that you are
healed, and you'll get well. Do you believe that? Just as you testify
that you are saved and it works righteousness, testify that you
are healed and it works healing. [Romans 4:20-22] God will
grant it.
EXPECTATIONS
Some say, "Now, you had better not testify that you are
healed before you feel something."
Feel something? Brother, I believe something. I believe that
what God said is the truth, don't you?

Approaching Jesus
Some people touched the garment of Jesus and were made
well. Others smacked Him in the face, and hit Him on the head with
sticks, and spit in His face, and never felt any virtue at all. It was
their attitude of approach.
It depends on what attitude you come in. If you come
believing that you're coming to get help, and you're confident
that you're coming to the right Person, Jesus Christ, and you're
coming His provided way of approach, you're going to receive
something if you come reverently. If you come, "Well, I'll go touch
and see if it helps me," that won't do any good at all. It's your
approach to God's Divine article that does it.
Just like the brass serpent. Why, the serpent didn't have any
virtue in it. It was a piece of brass; they'd brought it up out of Egypt.
Neither did the pole have any virtue in it, not a bit. But it was
obeying what God said do that brought the power, that brought
the virtue. It is obedience to the Word of God. And it's the same
thing tonight.
BLIND BARTIMAEUS

Attitude
Your right mental attitude towards God's Divine
promise will bring any promise to pass.
Now, maybe you don't believe that. You say, “Well, my faith
is weak."
I wouldn't confess it. Don't let the Devil know that. Always
say, "I've got good faith. I believe God with all my heart." Don't
testify of nothing that is of the Devil.
And when you accept Him as your Healer, never act like
you're sick or crippled any more. Believe that you're healed.

Take Him at His Word. Then it's all over onto God then, and not on
you.
As long as you take God at His Word, then the Word will
produce what it promised to do. Now, have faith; believe Him with
all your heart.
THE HOUR IS COME
Afflictions are brought about to see what attitude you'll
take. See, it's God on this proving ground. That's all earth is, is a
proving ground, where He's trying to prove you.
HEBREWS CHAPTER FOUR

In The Prayer Line

How do you do, sister dear. Do you believe with all your
heart? I know what's wrong with you, but you haven't yet received
your healing.
You have two things wrong with you, and you're trying to
have faith, aren't you? You're just pressing yourself, aren't you? But
that isn't it. Just settle yourself, sister, and say, "I believe." It isn't
what you can make yourself do; it's just simple faith.
What color is my shirt? White. Now, you have a sense of
sight that says it's white, doesn't it? Now, if your faith says, "I'm
going to be healed right now," it's the same as this. You know it just
as well as your sight says that this shirt is white. It's over. Do you
believe it with all of your heart?
IT SHALL BE EVEN AS IT WAS TOLD ME
Remember, if you're going to be healed, don't think that
somebody that's got a gift of Divine healing heals you. If you're
going to be healed by Divine healing, you are the one that's got
the gift of healing. It's your faith in Christ, not this person, or any
other man. It's your own individual faith in Christ.

Sowing Seeds
When you sow a seed, you don't dig it up every morning to
see if it's come to pass. If you do, your seed will never come up.
You've got to plant it, commit it to the earth, and let it alone. It's up
to nature, God, to water it and to see that it produces. Is that
true?
That's the way you do the Word of God. Accept it in a good
heart, already fertilized, and all the creepers, and the rocky places,
and the stony doubts taken away, in good rich soil of faith, and
believe it. Commit it to God, and walk away testifying that you
have received what God has promised you. And He's the High
Priest of your confession, to make right anything that you
confessed that He has done. That's the Gospel.
THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD

Satan's Blackmail
Healing is already yours. The only thing against that is sin,
maybe something you're doing in life that's not right. Or either
some demon is holding something over you that won't let you
believe. If it isn't, then Jesus told something wrong. "All things are
possible to him that believes." Is that right?
Then it lies within you; it's not in God.
BELIEVING GOD
If there's something hanging over you, some sin, and you
don't confess that, you could anoint that person, pray for them, do
everything you want to do, but Satan will stay right there as long as
you've got unconfessed sin in your life. Or sometimes there is
something that you haven't done, something you've neglected to do,
and in there God reveals if there is anything wrong. Then, when you
make that right, your healing is complete.

Rattlesnakes!
What if the express agent would come down to your house
and say, "How do you do, are you Miss John Doe?"
"Yes."
"Well, I have something here for you."
And you look at it, and it would be a great big box full of
rattlesnakes. Well, what a present! There's your name tacked on
them. "These are yours."
Are they? In one sense they're yours; in another sense
they're not. You say, "I don't want them."
"Well, they're yours; your name is on them."
That's the one way it's yours. But still, it isn't yours until
you sign for it. And if you don't sign for it, he will have to take it
back!
You might see all your symptoms. The Devil says, “Here it is.
Here's your cancer. Here's your heart trouble. Here's your crippled
condition."
Refuse to sign for anything the Devil brings. He will have
to take it back. Say, "I refuse to have it. I just won't have it, no sir."
He will have to take it back in the Name of the Lord.
If you believe it, and confess it, and say, "I've accepted
Jesus Christ as my Healer," there is no affliction or disease that can
stay on you. Stay right with it.
But the first time that you get weak and say, "Well, yes, I've
still got it," then you drop right down to where you were. You've
signed for it then, and taken it back. You say, "Yes, Mr. Devil, I'll
have it back."
Oh, brother! You stand right there as long as there is a
breath in your body, and say, "I refuse to have it. I refuse to have
it."

"How do you feel?"

"Wonderful, hallelujah," That's it. That's right. Show the
Devil what you're made out of. You're born again by the Spirit of
God, and you don't have to bow down to images.
Stay right there, and say, "I don't want your stuff.”
"Why, here's your name on it, the doctor said..."
"I don't care what he said. I know what God said. Get away
from here with it."
That's right. That's the way to treat him. Hand it back!
THE SECOND MIRACLE

Submit yourselves therefore to God.

Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
JAMES 4:7

That Settles It
When you receive the inspiration that Jesus Christ died
for your sickness, it's that very hour that you're healing has come.
That's right. When you receive from Heaven that Jesus died for your
sins, and you have accepted it, you don't need any prayer then.
You've already accepted it; it's settled.
Now, we can preach the Word, and explain the Word, but
you have to receive the Word. Oh, hallelujah. That's what sets it
afire, brother. When receive it (the revelation) something slips
out of the unseen world yonder and comes rolling down
through a mystical channel somewhere into your soul, that
says, "Now I see it." Your eyes brighten. Your lips that once hung
down, straighten up and smile. Every muscle in your body seems to
rejoice. Something's going to happen. You don't need to be in a
prayer line then. You've got it!

GOD'S PROVIDED WAY OF HEALING

When you once accept your healing, don't you ever go
through another prayer line. You let that settle it forever.
EXPECTATIONS

The Real Thing

Brother, you just let something on the phenomenal side
start, and watch how every rogue hound in hell goes to hollering,
craving blood. Is that right? It's true.
I tell you, Peter preached a sermon on the day of Pentecost,
and three thousand souls were saved. The Devil never even moved
out of his bed. (That's right. "Oh, well, let them alone.") But he
[Peter] passed through the gate called Beautiful the next day and
healed a man that was crippled from his mother's womb, and all
hell turned loose on him. That's right. They threw him in the jail and
kept him there overnight. They put him into prison, the inner cell
there, because of the phenomenal.
The Devil said, "I can't let this thing get started now, this
Divine healing. If I do, they really will knock my props out from
under me. I might fool them with a little theology once in a while,
but I sure can't fool that real thing that comes out, and the people
see it done. I'll just stop this before other groups get on the scene."
He never stopped it then; he can't stop it now! That's
right. God's Gospel will move on, and on, and on, and on.
ACTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

God's Checkbook
Everything that God's got in His Kingdom belongs to us. He
just takes the whole, big book full of checks, and signs His Name

on the bottom of them, and says, "Here you are, son. Anything you
need, go get it." Amen.
Don't be afraid to fill it out. Fill it out and hand it in. Say,
"Thank You, Lord." Hallelujah! It will come to pass.

"Whatsoever things you desire, when you pray,

believe you'll receive it and you shall have it."
MARK 11:24
Sign out the check, and say, "Lord, I need healing." Tear it
off, and say, "There You are, Lord, I ask in Jesus' Name for healing."
Then say, "Thank You, Lord,” and walk right on.
Believe for the healing, and it comes right back, like the
crows sending down that food to Elijah. There it is.
GOD'S WAY MADE FOR US

Confidence
Though circumstances will seem to fall from right and left,
that faith never moves, because you're certain that He is God. And if
He's God, He keeps His promise. He can't make a promise and break
it. If He is God, He has got to keep His promise. Oh, I love that.
BE CERTAIN OF GOD
No selfish thing will work. Your motives and objectives
have to be exactly, perfectly right, then you have faith. "If our
hearts condemn us not, then we have confidence." [I John 3:21]
We've got to have confidence.
Say, "I want this to the honor and glory of God." Then faith
has a channel to move into. If it doesn't, then you've got a mental,
intellectual faith, and not genuine faith from God. That intellectual
faith will get you nowhere. It might get you emotional, but it
won't get you the healing that you're looking for.

I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE

What God Loves
If God came down and healed me - positive, right out, a
miracle - it wouldn't be as great as it would be if I see the promise
of God and take it into my heart.
Standing there, I can say, "Jesus is now healing me, for I have
accepted His Word. It's in my heart. He is now interceding for me
before the Father. I shall be well."
That is what God loves. Stand there on His Word and say,
"its right! He is healing me now, every day."
BELIEVING GOD
When a man keeps what God said to do, and he's certain that
He is God, then He has to answer. Faith calls Him on the scene
every time.
When you've done what you know is right, when you've met
His requirement, when you've confessed and made right and done
restitutions and laid it before God, I don't care how silent He is.
He is still God, waiting to put that faith there. You've done your
works. Now He wants to see your faith by your works. He wants to
see what you'll do.
BE CERTAIN OF GOD

The Atonement
Someone was talking to me here not long ago, and said,
"Brother Branham, do you mean to tell me that you believe that
healing is in the atonement?"
I said, "Yes, sir." (And it happened to be a good Baptist
brother of mine.)
He said, “Brother Branham, if Divine healing is in the
atonement, where do you allow it? To Isaiah?”

I said, "Yes, sir."

He said, "Oh, no. I can prove that's wrong. Isaiah prophesied
that He took our infirmities, and was wounded for our
transgressions, and with His stripes we are healed. Then, in
Matthew 8, it says that He took on Himself our infirmities, to fulfill
that which was spoke of. So He fulfilled it then." He said, "Look here,
Brother Branham. If you teach that Divine healing is in the
atonement, there would be no more pain. There is no pain, if you
teach Divine healing in the atonement.
I said, "Do you believe salvation is in the atonement?"
"Yes."
I said, "Is there temptation?" (There you are. Yes.) "Is there
temptation?"
Oh, yes, there can be temptation, but His grace is sufficient.
Yes, there is pain, but His grace if sufficient. That's right. His grace is
sufficient.
JESUS CHRIST, THE SAME YESTERDAY, AND TODAY, AND FOREVER

That's God's Business

Joshua said, "Gather the Israelites up and down this river
here, for you're going to see the Glory of God."
"How are you going to get across the river?"
"That's not my business. It's my business to walk down to
the river. It's God's business to open it up when I get there." That's
right.
It's your business to testify and claim your healing (say,
"I'm healed!"), and it's God's business to take care of it after you
testify and proclaim it. That's right. God gave you a dare to try it,
so now just take it. Find out whether it's right or not. I like that.

Any men in the Bible, and any men through the ages that
have ever had any get-up about them, have been men who dared to
stand there and call black black and white white. That's right. They
took God at His promise and stood there.
GOD COMMISSIONING MOSES THE PROPHET
Pass The Potatoes
I believe you love me, and if you had beans and potatoes and
carrots and fried chicken and pumpkin pie and ice cream, and
everything else setting on the table, I believe I'd be just as
welcome to the potatoes as I was to the beans. I believe I'd be just
as welcome to the chicken as I was to the pie. It's all on the table.
And the only thing I'd have to do is say, "Would you please pass me
some pie?"
And I believe that with a good free heart, in your love for me
you'd say, "Certainly, my brother, have a nice big piece of it." Is that
right?
If I'd say, “Would you pass me potatoes?"
"Why, certainly, my brother, here it is."
And every redemptive blessing that Jesus Christ died for
and purchased in His atonement at Calvary is setting on the
table, and every believer is sitting before it. Hallelujah! If I need
healing, I say, "Father, pass me some healing," and I pour it out on
my plate and eat.
Now, if you want to starve to death, go ahead.
QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ON GENESIS

Symptoms
Symptoms are the worst things. That's one of the greatest
scarecrows the Devil has got. Symptoms don't have nothing to do
with it. It's because God said so.

My, if there's anybody that ever had a case of symptoms, it

was Jonah. He ought to have had symptoms! He was backslid, hands
tied behind him, in the belly of a whale, about a mile deep in the
ocean in a stormy sea, sea weeds wrapped around his neck. Talk
about symptoms! He looked this way; it was whale's belly. He
looked that way; it was whale's belly. Everywhere he looked, it was
whale's belly. But he said, "They are lying vanities." Right. He said,
"I won't look at this whale's belly any more, but once more will
I look to Your holy temple, Lord."
It depends on what you're looking at. If you're looking at
your symptoms, they'll be there. If you look to God's Word,
symptoms will have to vanish.
Why did Jonah do that? Because he knew that when Solomon
dedicated that temple, he said, "Lord, if Thy children be in trouble
at any place, and will look towards this holy place and pray, then
they will hear from Heaven." And he believed that God heard
Solomon's prayer.
If Jonah, under those circumstances, could believe that
God heard Solomon's prayer, how much more ought we to
believe, when we look once more to the Holy Temple, where
Jesus sits at the right hand of the Majesty in Heaven, with His
own Body as a sacrifice?
"Once more will I look to Thy holy temple, Lord." Yes, sir.
God kept him alive for three days and nights, and delivered him
over in Nineveh, where he belonged.
EXPECTATIONS

Confers It!
Now, He cannot heal you, or cannot save you, or do one thing
for you, until first you accept it, and believe it, and confess it.
That's right; you've got to confess it. It's not that you've got to feel
it. You've got to confess it! He's not the High Priest of your feelings;

He's the High Priest of your confession. That right, it's what you
confess.
AT THY WORD, LORD
You'll never live above your confession.
AT THY WORD, LORD
If you believe in healing, and believe that God has healed
you, confess it, and God will make your body obey your
confession. He's the High Priest of your confession, sitting at the
right-hand of the Father now, with His own Blood to make
intercessions for any confession upon anything that He died
for.
He died to rid sin, and sickness is the result of sin. “He was
wounded for our transgressions…….. with His stripes we are
healed." [Isaiah 53:5] Remember that. Have faith. Don't waiver.
Stand on it.
ATTITUDE, AND WHO IS GOD?
You're going out there, excited, and trying to reach for
something, when it's right here by you. Just simply say, "Thank You,
Father. You promised it to me. I now receive it." That's all. Watch
what happens.
Now, mean it in your heart. Just keep saying it, over and
over. If you don't believe it altogether, keep saying it until you do
believe it. Just keep saying it: “I thank You, Lord, for my
healing."
Because what is He? Christ is the High Priest of our
confession. Is that right? Hebrews 3. He's the High Priest of our
confession. Then He cannot do one thing for you, can make no
intercession, until first you confess that it's done. Now, is that
Scriptural? The High Priest of our confession. Then he can only act
when we confess.
WHY?

I see visions over the people, but I can't say that they are
healed until He tells me they're healed, and He can't tell me until
your faith actually acts. Your faith acting will bring God's Word to
pass. You've got to believe it, accept it, testify of it. Say, "I receive it
now, Lord, and that settles it forever. No matter what I feel like, or
nothing about it; I'm going to believe it anyhow."
AT THY WORD, LORD
Common Faith
In the Old Testament, when the blood was applied over the
lintel of the door, I'm told it was put on by hyssop, dipped in the
blood and rubbed over the door. Hyssop is just a common weed,
and that is how it was applied, by hyssop. Something that you could
just reach down anywhere and get a handful of it.
How appropriate that is tonight, to apply hyssop as faith.
You put the Blood on by faith; how we're covered by the Blood, by
faith, common faith.
Well, you say, "But for miracles and for healing, Brother
Branham, it is some different type of faith."
No, it's the same faith. There's only one faith.
TIME-TESTED FAITH
Some people try to have supernatural faith, but that's the
reason you miss your healing. Faith is just a common thing.
You've got faith to come to church. You've got faith to walk out
there. You've got faith to start your car. You've got faith to eat your
dinner. That's the way it is, just common faith.
Now the blood was applied with hyssop, which is just
common weeds that grow anywhere in Palestine, showing that the
faith that the blood is to be applied by is not some super thing that
you have to have all kinds of doctor's degrees to do it. It's just
common, everyday faith, to believe God.

Footsteps Is Possession
God gives you healing tonight. Every one of you, He gives
you healing. It's your possession. It's all bound down with
Amorites and Canaanites and everything else of unbelief, but go in
and take it over! It's yours. It belongs to you. That's right. "I must
fight if I should reign, increase my courage, Lord."
This is not a picnic ground. This is a battlefield.
THE ANGEL OF THE COVENANT
God told them [the Hebrew children] way down in Egypt,
"I'll give you that land." But He didn't say, "I'll go out there and
sweep it all out, and garnish the houses, and hang up the curtains,
and everything. You all just move in." No, no. They had to fight for
every inch of ground they took.
That's right, fight and take it. Fight for every inch. He said,
"Everywhere the soles of your foot lands, that's possession."
[Joshua 1:3] Footsteps is possession.
That's the same thing today. Divine healing belongs to us.
The Holy Spirit belongs to us. It's our property, but you'll fight
for every inch of it. Yes, sir. But brother, footsteps is possession.
Just keep fighting. Take it. The Devil will say, "The days of miracles
are past."
You say, "You're a liar. God said He is the same yesterday,
today, and forever." Take it over. Everywhere your foot steps,
that's possession.
THOU SON OF DAVID HAVE MERCY ON ME

The Shepherd
I was told by a missionary that in Palestine he had seen a
shepherd coming along with the sheep. One of the sheep he had to
pack, and he had put a splint on its leg.

And the missionary said, "Did the sheep fall, sir, and hurt its
leg?"
He said, "No."
"What happened to its leg?"
He said, "I broke it."
"You broke it? You must be a very cruel shepherd to do that."
He said, "No. You see, this sheep wouldn't mind me. It kept going
astray, and I knew it was going to get killed. So I had to break its leg
in order to bring it up close to me, and give it just a little special
treat, feed it out of my hand. And it will make it love me more."
So maybe God, sometimes, just has to let a little something
happen to you so that He can bring you just a little closer to
Him, love you a little extra, and then give you a little special
treatment, a healing. And you'll say, "Yes Lord, I believe You."
GOD'S SERVANT JOB

Bait
Divine healing is wonderful, but Divine healing is like the
bait that's on the hook. You don't show the fish the hook; you
show him the bait. If he gets the bait, he's got the hook too.
If a man can ever be healed and see the Power of God and
what it does to you, he will then become a believer. That's right.
WATER FROM THE ROCK

Staying Healed
Someone said, "Does the healing last?" It lasts as long as
faith lasts. But when faith fails, then your healing will fail.
Would you say that every person that came to the altar and
got converted would be a Christian all their days? He could be,

tonight, a child of God, and tomorrow be a child of the Devil. When

he loses faith in God, that is what sends him back.
DISEASES AND AFFLICTIONS
Is healing lasting? Sure it is, but what happens is, they get
out and the Devil gets a hold of them, maybe through someone else,
and they get a little skeptical or something. Then it comes right
back to them.
You know, Jesus said that when the unclean spirit has gone
out of a man, he walks in dry places finding no rest. Then he comes
back and brings seven other devils, worse than he was. [Matthew
12:43] And now, if the good man of the house (which is your faith)
isn't standing there, ready to resist, well, then he will come in, and
your last estate will be worse than your first.
Many times, people with a malignancy, or tumor, or any kind
of growth, when it dies, the life goes out of it. You will get relief
right then, and you will feel better. Then, after about seventy- two
hours, you start getting sick, really sick, because that's a dead lump
of flesh now. And then, if it breaks up, and there's no way for it to
drop out (maybe it's on the inside, adhesions and so forth holding
it), it will drop down in the diaphragm or somewhere. Then you've
got a lump of flesh in you that's rotten.
Of course, your heart and blood stream purifies the body,
pumps through your heart. It makes the patient terribly sick, an
infection and fever and everything, and the person says, “Well, I
know that when I was standing there I was well for two or three
days, but I guess I've lost my healing."
Well, that's the best sign in the world that you've got
your healing. See?

Faith Or Fear
The trouble with people tonight is that you're scared.
That's the biggest curse there is on the Full Gospel people, or any
other people. They are afraid. God has made the provision, but
you're afraid to take His Word for it. If you were not afraid tonight,
why, you would take your healing by faith, and know that God
promised it, and the thing would just go plumb away from you.
Afraid. Scared. I've noticed it, and that's the reason I'm
such a believer in healing. I know that if you can get away from
that scare, and get love in its place, something is going to
happen.
There are only two faculties that govern a human. One of
them is faith, which brings results, and the other is fear, which has
no value in it at all. Faith is of God. Fear is of the Devil.
THE WAY TO HAVE FELLOWSHIP

Be not afraid, only believe.

MARK 5:36

A Lack Of Understanding
You can get by with anything in America. I went to a service
not long ago where they were supposed to be practicing Divine
healing. The fellow was jumping up and down, screaming to the top
of his voice, and kicking the pulpit as hard as he could, saying, "God,
I demand that You..."
Oh, mercy! I thought, "God, be merciful to my brother. He
doesn't understand." Who are we to demand that God do anything?
He's already done it! Just believe Him. That's all.
They had an old fellow in a sheet, and they were shaking him
back and forth, like this, a man with a heart trouble. I felt sorry for

him. Another man came up with rheumatism, and he shook him

that way and he hit him, just as hard as he could with his hand, and
said, "I hate rheumatism."
That don't take devils out. The Devil don't care how much
you holler. He's not hard of hearing, but he certainly knows where
faith lays. That's one thing that will make him move.
WHERE I THINK PENTECOST FAILED
Whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
MATTHEW 21:22

Meeting God's Requirements

Christ died and healed you at Calvary. He saved you there.
You've got to accept it by faith, like the rest of us. Right. You believe
it. You don't have to stay there and beat and cry all night. You
could cry until you got gray-headed and laid on the altar and died.
Until you accept that Blood sacrifice that God gave to you,
you're lost. I don't care how you feel. I don't go by how I feel. I
feel, a lot of times, like I'm way behind, but the Bible says that
I've met God's requirements.
ABRAHAM'S COVENANT CONFIRMED
Abraham's Seed takes God at His Word and holds on to it.
They meet God's conditions and say, "Here it is, Father. It's settled
right here tonight." That's the way the real Seed of Abraham does.
Nothing can move them from it - no hurts, no pains, no aches, no
nothing else, no doctor. Ten thousand can stand over you and
say, "You're dying."
You would say, "It's not so."
Refuse to hear anything else when you meet God.

Fight For Every Inch

Israel was promised a promised land, but they had to fight
for every inch of it. "Wherever the sole of your foot treads upon,
that have I given you," God said to Joshua. It was all there. The land
was there, and God gave it to them; but, they had to fight for it.
That's the same way it is about Divine healing. God has got
the power to heal you, if you've got the courage to accept it. But
you'll fight every inch of the way. God has got amazing grace to save
you, and He will do it, but you'll fight every inch of your way.
MARRIAGE OF THE LAMB
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage;
be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is
with thee whithersoever thou goest.
JOSHUA 1:9

No Bluffing
Your faith is not what you feel; your faith is what you
believe.
If you really believed it, I don't care how you felt, you would
never, never say you wasn't healed. You would always believe it.
That's what does it.
That's what happens here at the platform when I have
healing services.
Hundreds of people come to the platform and say, "Oh,
Brother Branham, I've got all kinds of faith." If it was ink, it
wouldn't dot an 'i'. You've got hope instead of faith.
Faith is positive. Nothing can move it; it's positive, no matter
how sick you get. Now, if you're trying to bluff it, it won't take
bluffing. The Devil, he's a bluff himself, and he knows how to
run a bluff. But when you've got the goods, it doesn't take loud

hollering; it doesn't take stomping and screaming. It takes faith. He

will recognize it. Don't worry, just say the Word.
WHAT ARE VISIONS?

God's Love Projected

With the King of Kings, you cannot be too little. He sees
every move you make. He knows all that's in you. Not even the
sparrow could fall to the street without Him knowing it. Not a little
flower could come up, a little crocus, unless He knows about it.
So how much more are you than the flower? And if you're
lying there sick or afflicted, do you not know that the King of Kings
is watching you? Do you not know that He's interested in your
healing, and in your welfare? You may be ever so sinful, but did you
know He's interested in you becoming His subject?
You might say, "But I'm just an insignificant person." But
you're not in the sight of God. God wants you. He loves you. God
so loved you that when His love was projected, sovereign grace
took it's place and sent a Savior, to redeem you back to Himself.
And in this Savior, "He was wounded for our transgressions,"
because God loved you. And God saw the afflictions of His people,
and "with His stripes you were healed." God's grace making a
way, for His love required it.
When His love projected His feeling, Christ stepped out
to take His place.
GOD PROJECTING HIS LOVE

Take God At His Word

She [Mary] didn't wait till she was positive of this; she didn't
wait till she felt life, or some kind of a sensation to prove that she
was to be a mother. She just took His Word, and that was enough.

That's what God wants you to do tonight. Not to wait until

you feel better. Not to wait till you can move your hand better, or
walk a good step. Not to wait until the doctor says you're
improving. But take God at His Word and begin to believe it.
That's the only way to please Him. Take His Word.
That's the way miracles are performed. When God is taken
at His Word, the impossibles are made real. When God is taken
at His Word, and not questioned.
MARY'S BELIEF
God is true to His promise, no matter what He has to do. He
will bankrupt the heavens before He will let His Word be defeated.
He has never made a promise that He can't keep.
I am the Lord that heals all thy diseases. PSALMS 103:3
If you lay hands on the sick they shall recover. MARK 16:18
If thou canst believe, all things are possible. MARK 9:23
POSSESSING THE GATE OF THE ENEMY

The Seed Of Abraham

Every son that cometh to God must be tried, and proven,
and tested. [Hebrews 12:6] God lets sickness strike you, He lets
diseases come upon you to test you and to prove you, to show the
world that you're truly the Seed of Abraham. He permits it by His
own will. He permits disasters; He permits friends to turn against
you. He permits all these things, and turns the Devil loose to tempt
you, and he'll do all but take your life. He could throw you on a bed
of affliction; he could turn your neighbors against you; he could
turn the church against you. He can do most anything, and it's God's
will for him to do it. We are taught that it is more precious than
gold to us.

Lord, I Believe
It isn't necessary that I lay my hands on anyone, or it isn't
Necessary that you lay your hands on me. What is necessary is that
you lay your hands on Him. He is the One. As for me, I'm your
brother; He's your Lord. So lay hands on Him by doing this: take
hold of His Word and say, "Lord, I believe it."
CAN WE SEE JESUS?
Life Perverted
The Devil only perverts. He cannot create; he perverts. But
first he has to have a way.
If your body was perfect and like God made it in the
beginning, it would be impossible to get sick. But the Devil has to
find a weakness, somewhere to pervert.
That's the same thing with your soul. The reason you don't
believe in Divine healing is because the Devil found a weak
spot in you, and he perverted it. God is the Healer. And we are the
offspring of God, sons and daughters of God, believing like our
Father believed.
Notice this little cell. It was a bruise, and then a life came into
that little bruise. The cell backslid. (That's a big word for a Baptist
to say, isn't it?) It backslid, and the Devil put a germ in there called
cancer, tumor, or whatever it may be. And as they began to develop
cells, he began to suck on your blood. (That's what he does, he eats
you up by pulling your blood.)
Now, what does the doctor do? The doctor cuts that out, but
if there is one little speck left, it will live on.
Now, Divine healing doesn't deal so much with taking away
that growth. Divine healing deals with the Devil that's inside of
us, the germ, the life.

Doctor Jesus
Your doctor will write out a prescription and give you a sack
full of pills, and you'll swallow them. You don't know what's in
those pills, but you've got faith in your doctor.
How about God? You're scared to swallow some of the "Gos-
pills" that He gives you: “By His stripes you were healed;" "Faith is the
victory that overcomes the world." Swallow it and see what
happens.
It's a confidence. You show what confidence you have in
your doctor by taking his medicine that you don't know what it is.
You show your confidence in the doctor by submitting yourself to
an operation. That proves your confidence in the doctor. But when
it comes to Christ, you're scared to take Him at His Word. How is it?
Faith is the victory.
You should submit your case to Jesus Christ tonight, just
as you submit your case to the doctor. "Give me anything you
want to, Lord. You're the doctor on the case." Then you've got the
victory. Then you've got faith that overcomes.
FAITH IS OUR VICTORY

Perseverant
John said, "I bear record that that is the Son of God, because I
saw the dove coming down." Nobody else saw it. Nobody else was
looking for it. But John was looking for it, and John saw it.
I don't care how many others fail in their healing, you
believe that it's yours. You take hold of it. I don't care what the
Jones' done, or the rest of them, you hold on to it, and be
persistent. When God reveals it to you that His Son has made you
free from sin and sickness, you hold on to it. Be persistent.
PERSEVERANT

Luke 24:49 says, "Behold, I send the promise of the Father

upon you: but wait up at the city of Jerusalem until you are endued
with power from on high." How long? One hour, two hours, ten days,
four months, six months? It didn't make any difference. Until! How
long is that? Just until.
When you ask God for anything, stay right there until.
Amen! Stay until. Until what? Until it happens. Claim it! Believe
it! Hold on to it! Go into action! Testify about it! Testify, and don't be
afraid. Get into action.
You've got two 'wings', so use them. Stay in action! Wave
them back and forth. "Lord, I believe; Lord, I believe." You can't just
holler, "Holy, holy, holy." You have to say, "Lord, I believe!" Stay in
action!
THE INFLUENCE OF ANOTHER

God In Action
Lord Jesus, in the way of humility, in the way of humbleness,
I offer you this congregation that's on their feet. I offer them to you
because they have stood in response to the call. They're seeking
deeper things. They're seeking more life, after hearing that the
Blood of Jesus so thoroughly cleanses that there is nothing
more, and that the complete Word of God rests within them; that
the very command of their own voice is creative power, because in
them is the Holy Ghost, and this Holy Ghost is a Creator. He makes
things come to pass, because He speaks the Word.
And the Word spoken becomes God in action.
GOD HIDING HIMSELF IN SIMPLICITY
If you could only see that these things that seem to be
burring you, and upsetting you, that they are trials. They are things
to make you stand still, focus your glasses on the Word of God
and speak the Word, and then just walk forward. That's all there
is to it.

We get to a time when we say, "God, I don't know what to do.

I'm up against it."
Speak the Word, "Lord, I believe," and just start walking
forward. God does the opening up of the sea. You just keep
walking.
VICTORY DAY

Getting In The Spirit

God heals by music. God heals by love. God heals by
medicine. God heals by prayer. God has many ways of healing. It
depends on what type that you need. Sometimes a little love
stretched out will just cure an old sore, an old place that's been a
grudge or something. It'll heal it right over, just a little love, a little
care. Sometimes when you feel all down, and, as we call it, a street
expression, "down in the dumps," just put on one of those tapes,
that music or record, and go to playing it. The first thing you know
you're patting your foot, or your hand, and it's all over then. You're
right up and ready to go again.
LOOK
Suppose you need healing. What does the Word say?
Well, we have all read it countless times, but did not get in the Spirit
when reading it. Did we ask God for His Spirit to teach us the real
truth of it? If we did, we would call the elders, confess our sins, be
anointed and prayed for, and that would be that. It might not come
immediately, but in His Spirit, it is all over. There is no other court
of appeal. God will fulfill His Word.
Oh, we need to get in the Spirit, and then things will be
done. Don't go through the acts first. Get in the Spirit and then
go through the acts, and watch what God will do.
THE PATMOS VISION

Knowing
Moses never went down into Egypt presuming that God was
with him; he went down into Egypt knowing God was with him.
You don't accept your healing, thinking God will do it.
You accept your healing because God has already done
it. He promised it, and your faith says it's so, and nothing else can
wipe it out.
PERSEVERANT
Faith is by hearing the Word, the Word of promise. If you
don't have a promise, then you venture out upon your own faith.
But, if you can take a promise of God, that's God's promise to you.
The woman that touched His garment had no promise of
that, but her faith, without a promise, got her healing [Matthew
9:20]. Now, if she could get her healing by her faith without a
promise in what she was doing, how much more ought we to
get our healing by faith in a promise that God is manifesting and
vindicating before us, and has brought it to us by His Word, then
has come around and confirmed His Word!
UNFAILING WORDS OF PROMISE

The Purchase Power

I have faith that God is going to keep His Word. Though I'm
not healed at the present time, I know God has plenty of healing
power, and I've got the faith to bring it to me.
You're just as happy with the faith that says, "You're going to
get well." as you would be if you were sound and well at that
minute. That makes no difference, because you've already
possessed it. Faith is a substance, not a make believe. But you're
holding – not in your hand, but in the possession of your heart -
the purchase power of your healing.

HAVE FAITH IN GOD

Divine healing is one of the benefits that we enjoy by being
Christians. David said, "Forget not all His benefits! Who forgives
all of thine iniquities, who heals all of thy diseases." [Psalm
103:2- 3] It's one of the benefits that we draw from God by being a
believer.
WITNESSES
God's Laws
If you were out here in the field tonight, and it was dark, and
you could say, "I'm a scientist, and I know that there's enough
electricity in this air to light up this field and show me how to get
out of here. Oh, great Electricity, I know you're here. Scientific
research shows that you're right here in the air. If I separate the
cold and hot air, and then bring it together I've got electricity. And
now, just light up the way because I'm lost."
You could scream until you got hoarse and it would never
light up. But, if you work according to the laws of electricity, it will
light up the way.
Now that's the way it is about God. Divine healing has been
misused many times, but there is a way. There is truly Divine
healing, but we've got to work according to the laws and the
commandments of God to get to Divine healing. It's there.
CONFERENCE WITH GOD

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth

itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity
every thought to the obedience of Christ.
II CORINTHIANS 10:5
God Alone
Healing is of God alone. God alone has purchased for us our
healing. It's up to us to do everything that we can, in our life and in

every way that God has given us, for our healing, but it's God that
heals. If God calls you to go Home tonight, there isn't enough
medicine in the world that will keep you here. There is nothing
going to keep you here. And if He determines you're to stay on the
earth, no matter how many physicians say you're going tonight,
you're not going. So it's just all up to God.
SIRS, WE WOULD SEE JESUS
No man is a healer. God is the Healer. These gifts are only to
show what God's attitude towards the people is, to get you people
back to believing in God. Because if you haven't got faith enough to
believe for your sick body, how are you going to have faith enough
for the rapture?
MOSES' COMMISSION

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time

are not worthy to be compared with the glory
which shall be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18

Paid In Full
I'm fixing to drive home in just a little bit, after the services,
so that I can get the wife and babies and be in Zion, Illinois, by
Tuesday. That's about a six or seven-hundred-mile trip, right quick.
Now, if you would say, "Brother Branham, I have an airplane
ticket laying out here for you. You can go by plane." And you have
taken your money and purchased that airplane ticket.
But yet, it will never do me any good, no matter how much
the airline says, "Here it is. Your name is here, you're ready." Until I
accept that ticket, it will never do me any good. Is that right? No

matter how sincere you are, yet it won't do me any good, until I
accept it.
Now, your healing is just as complete as the airplane ticket,
and more so. Your healing is more complete than the airplane ticket
would be complete if you had paid for it. Is that right? Jesus, when
He died, He settled the sin question. And in there, He did make an
atonement for your sickness. "He was wounded for our
transgressions; with His stripes we are healed." That's as plain as I
know to report it to you.
WHO HATH BELIEVED OUR REPORT?

Surrender
He [God] created our bodies. And won't our bodies have to
obey Him? Amen. You surrender your thoughts to Him, surrender
your life to Him, surrender your faith to Him, and watch that
body obey what He said. If you're a drunkard and you can't quit
drinking, surrender that life to Him and watch. You'll drink no
more. If you are a habitual smoker, and have tried to give it up and
can't do it, just surrender that to Him and watch what happens. He
will make that body come back into subjection to the Word. Yes,
sir. But you've got to surrender it to Him. You've got to believe
Him. He made our bodies; they obey His will also. Do you believe
that? If you're a Christian, you have to.
CALLING JESUS ON THE SCENE
Notice, God will make our bodies obey Him. He said in Saint
John the 6th chapter, "He that eats my flesh, and drinks my Blood,
has everlasting life, and I will raise him up at the last day." Think of
it, our bodies obey when we have no more control of it, and it turns
back to a spoonful of dust. God will speak to that body, and it will
rise up again in the likeness of the resurrected Jesus Christ.
What are you worrying about then? If it's in the hands of
God, let go. Amen! For He will raise it up at the last day. He

promised to do it. THUS SAITH THE LORD. It's written in His

Word. What are you scared about this then, this little old ship?
He is in it. If He isn't, don't leave tonight until He comes in. It's a
dangerous thing to try to sail without Him. You'll be sunk, for
sure.

Walking In The Light

Darkness can't come into this room as long as this light is
here. No matter how dark it is outside, it will never get so dark but
what this light overcomes the darkness. Is that right? No matter
how much dark tries to press through that window, as long as
that light is here, light is more powerful than darkness.
And when faith comes in, no matter how much unbelief
stands around, the Light is greater than the darkness.
GOD'S PROVIDED WAY
We don't have to know everything. We just believe by faith
and walk on. God doesn't have to tell us all His plans, just how He's
going to make the morning star shine in the morning. Just move on
anyhow. God takes care of His own.
And when you're prayed for, being sick, you don't have to
worry about just how God is going to move that cancer, how God
is going to make that crippled limb come straight. Just go forward
in faith. That's up to God to take care of that.

God's Officer
Have faith in God. Don't disbelieve. In America we have a
saying; "Tow the line." Meet Satan on his own ground; cast him
away.
What if you went home tonight and there was a big bunch of
bad people in your home, tearing up your furniture and dirtying up
your house, drinking and carrying on? You would open the door
and you would say, "What are you doing here?"
They'd say, “This house is built for human beings, and we're
human beings; we have a right to be here."
But you would say, "Wait a minute! This is my property."
You could prove it by going and getting your deed. You could prove
it by presenting that deed, and they would have to leave. If they
didn't, the officers would come and throw them out!
Look, Satan is doing that evil to you. He's the one that gave
you the cancer, the heart trouble, all these diseases. You are sons
and daughters of God, and you've got an abstract deed from God,
that He was wounded for your transgressions, and with His stripes
you were healed. Healing is your personal property. Don't let
the Devil cheat you out of it.
Faith cometh by hearing, hearing of the Word. And the
Holy Ghost is God's Officer. He will come and cast him out.
Amen. Have faith.

The Gift of Healing

Do you know what the gift of healing is? Faith in healing. See,
you just release your faith, to pray for somebody; that's all a gift of
healing is. Every minister should have it. Everybody should have

LOOKING UNTO JESUS

The Unseen
If we lose faith, all our hopes are gone. If we lose faith, all
our spiritual reality is gone. For you cannot have faith in things that
you see, for the things that you see are all perishable.
If we look at some great person, or great minister, or a great
congregation, they will all perish someday. And if we look at a great
nation, our great weapons, they'll all perish someday. So then we
must live by faith in those things that science does not declare.
It's by faith that we believe.

The Token
If Satan tries to hand you some of this stuff like sickness, you
know what you do? Just show him the Token: "I am a purchased
product. My healing has been paid for and I am a product of God,
because I have the Token of the Holy Ghost. You cannot keep me
off of this highway. You cannot keep me from my health. I present
the Token and show you that by His stripes I was healed. Here's the
resurrection of Jesus Christ right in me now, to prove it to you." Oh,
there's the real thing. There's theToken.
THE TOKEN
The healing power is in you. It doesn't come from the
preacher. It comes to you by revelation, by faith. "Not by power,
not by might, but by My Spirit, saith the Lord." [Zechariah4:6] His
Spirit, by grace, reveals this to you, and there is nothing that can
take it away. By faith, revelation!

Keep Praying
Many times I have seen people on the platform and knew
they were going to die. It turns dark around them, and I know they
do not have long. I'll say, "Go, and may the Lord Jesus bless you. Go
and have faith in God."
Now, maybe He would show me that death was on the
person. I cannot overcome it. Maybe if I could sit down with that
person for awhile, talk with them, take a long time, twenty or thirty
minutes, sometimes an hour, and just speak to the person until God
will show the vision. Then there may be something told to that
person that would cause them to repent of something, or some
promise they could make to God that would bring God's favor to
them and heal them. Because many times God pronounces
something and then He changes His mind on it. Did you know
that?
A king, one time, was told by the prophet that he was going
to die. Remember that? [II Kings 20] And the prophet, after he had
given his message, walked right back out of the room. And the king
turned his face to the wall and wept bitterly. He said, "Lord, I
beseech you. I have walked before you with a pure heart." And now
he wanted his life spared for 15 years, to do something to glorify
God.
The prophet had done gone, but the Spirit of the Lord came
upon the prophet (after God had done told him that he was going to
die) and said, "Go back."
And the prophet told him that in three days he was coming
off of his bed, that God had heard his prayer.
So prayer changes things. Isn't that right? Prayer changes
things. So, therefore, I ask the people to go pray, because it
might change.
THE ANGEL OF THE LORD
But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering.

From The Heart

When a man comes to Christ, believing in the shed Blood of
Christ for his healing ("...by His stripes we are healed") and accepts
it until something happens in his heart that says, "It's so; I'm
going to be well," I'm telling you, there's no way at all to keep him
from getting well. He's going to be well, that's right.
You don't have to tell a person to quit sinning after he has
been born again. It just absolutely stops itself. Well, it's the same
thing. You don't tell the people, "Now keep on holding on," after
they're healed. Something happens inside of them, and it's not an
outside in, it's an inside out. It happens in here first. You absolutely
believe it. And then, from there out, it goes to work.
GOD HATH A PROVIDED WAY
How do we prove it? We do not prove it; we believe it. We're
not asked to prove anything; we're asked to believe it.

The Final Divine Healing

People tell me they've got faith, then say they can't believe in
Divine healing. Friends, if you don't believe in Divine healing,
you're lost. That's right. If you can't have faith enough for God to
patch up this body to glorify Him in, how much more are you going
to have faith to believe that God will take this old mortal and make
immortality of it, to take it up? That's a direct Divine healing. Oh
my, there's going to be some awful disappointments at the Day
of Judgment.

FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE

If there is no Divine healing, there is no resurrection of the
body. Divine healing is the earnest of our redeemed body.
THE ANGEL OF THE LORD

God Respects Faith

God doesn't respect your church affiliation, He respects
your faith in Him. And as for healing, you don't even have to be a
Christian to be healed. But, in order to stay healed, you have to
become a Christian. “Go ye and sin no more, or worse thing than
this will come upon you." [John 5:14]
I see many times the callused saints come through the
prayer line, men and women who have lived godly, and fail to be
healed, when prostitutes on the street would come through the line
and are healed. It depends on your faith.
GOD IN HIS PEOPLE

Communion
Do You know that communion has Divine healing in it?
The Israelites (in the type) took the communion, and marched forty
years, and when they came out of the wilderness, there wasn't a
feeble one among them. Two and a half million people. There is
power of healing in the communion.
ORDINATION
Faith Rules!
If you just rely on hope, you hinder faith. Hope looks for
something that's way off, but faith claims it right now. Faith
says, "God said so and it's mine. That settles it. I don't care if I'm
still crippled, I'm still blind, if I'm still sick, that don't have nothing
to do with it. I believe it anyhow. It's mine right now. God said so,

and that settles it." See, that's faith. But hope says, "God said So, and
I'm expecting to get it, someday." Do You see? "I'm expecting,
someday." As long as Satan can put you off to another day, that's as
good as he wants. That's right. You'll never get it. Just believe that
you've got it right now! It's your personal property.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of
things not seen. Is that right? Faith acts now. It's positive. I tell you,
sickness and everything else, when faith steps in, it's just like a
snowball on a hot stove. It just melts away. Everything goes
away with faith, because faith stands up and takes over. Faith rules.
When faith speaks, everybody else keeps still. That's right.
FAITH COMETH BY HEARING

Rejected
God makes a way. But I just wonder how He feels when He
makes a way for us - for our healing, for our salvation, for our
comfort, for our peace, and all these things - and we just walk away
and leave them. It must make Him feel terribly bad.
