1.0 Aims/Benefits of the Micro-project –

The aim of this micro project is to study the effects of water pollution on the environment. The benefits
include understanding the detrimental impacts of polluted water on ecosystems, human health, and
biodiversity, and finding solutions to mitigate these effects.

2.0 Course Outcomes Addressed –

The project addresses course outcomes related to environmental sustainability, ecological balance, and

6.0 Rationale – Water pollution is a critical environmental issue that affects ecosystems, biodiversity,
and human health. By understanding its causes and effects, students can contribute to future solutions and
raise awareness on the importance of clean water.

7.0 Aim/Benefits of the Micro-project –


Same as point 1: the aim is to highlight the environmental impacts of water pollution, while the benefits
include gaining knowledge on pollution control, environmental awareness, and hands-on experience in
conducting research.

8.0 Course Outcomes Achieved –


Upon completing this project, students will have achieved an understanding of how water pollution affects
ecosystems, the importance of clean water, and the potential solutions to mitigate pollution.
