S.Y. 2023-2024

The School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) is a dynamic and collaborative


platform within our educational institution that fosters continuous professional
development among our teachers. This report highlights the key achievements,
initiatives, and progress made by the SLAC during mid-year of the school year
2023-2024.

Goal and Objectives: The primary goal of the SLAC is to enhance teaching and
learning practices through shared knowledge, effective strategies, and
innovative approaches. The objectives include:

 Facilitating meaningful discussions on pedagogical topics.


 Identifying areas for improvement and implementing targeted solutions.
 Promoting a culture of collaboration, reflection, and growth.

Accomplishments:

1. Monthly Meetings: The SLAC held monthly meetings, serving as a platform for
teachers to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss best practices in
teaching. These meetings encouraged open dialogue and professional
networking.
2. Professional Development Workshops: The SLAC organized workshops
focused on various teaching methodologies, classroom management techniques,
and technology integration. These workshops aimed to empower teachers with
practical skills to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
3. Lesson Sharing Sessions: Regular lesson sharing sessions allowed teachers to
showcase successful lessons and learning activities they had implemented in
their classrooms. This practice inspired creativity and innovation among
educators.
4. Peer Observations: Teachers participated in peer observations to gain insights
into different teaching styles and approaches. Constructive feedback from
colleagues helped in refining instructional methods.

Impact and Future Directions: The SLAC's efforts have yielded positive
outcomes in terms of improved teaching methodologies, enhanced student
engagement, and a more cohesive teaching community. Moving forward, the
SLAC aims to:

 Continue offering diverse professional development opportunities.


 Strengthen ties with local educational organizations for broader insights.
 Collaborate with other schools to exchange best practices.
 Incorporate technology effectively into teaching strategies.

Gacub ES undergone 10 of 10 (ten) LAC Sessions in different areas for this


school year. Table below show the title and area of focus on the different LAC
sessions conducted.
