Atecpool pH Basic
The Atecpool pH Basic system allows you to measure the pH of the pool and correct it by injecting acid using a metering pump.
It is composed of a control unit that measures ph and contains the control software and an integrated acid metering pump.
To take into account the delay in measurement and avoid excessive dosing, the pump got alternate periods of pause and run
of 100 seconds when you have to inject acid. All control and measurement functions are performed on the controller and are
configured using an LCD screen, a 4-key keyboard and a simple menu system.

ATECPOOL suggest a simple solution for maintenance for the oxidation of platinum and copper
electrodes, especially if in contact with substances which quickly deteriorate the electrodes
thus interfering with measurements and optimal functioning. The operator, must simply let the
peristaltic inject acid for 2/3 minutes (commercial HCL around 10% concentration) or at least a
simple detergent. This until copper electrode is restored to natural colour.

The UV Concept
The sun emits invisible light called the ultraviolet light. Through leading edge technology, this natural
phenomenon is reproduced inside the sanitizers of the ATECPOOL UV product range using powerful
UV-C ray lamps. At 254 nanometers, the optimum wavelength for sterilizing micro-organisms (viruses,

Aquaculture - Protection against fish diseases

UV irradiation can destroy residual ozone in the water instantly, by breaking one of the oxygen
bonds in the ozone molecule. A final method for using UV is with Advanced Oxidation Process
(AO P); Using AO P in aquaculture reduces micropollutants like geosmin and MIB which cause off
flavour in the fat tissue of the fish. Through the combination with an oxidant such as hydrogen
peroxide or ozone, hydroxyl radicals are formed. Hydroxyl radicals are the strongest oxidant that
can be applied in water environments.

Pzone Lite system produces ozone when air is drawn across a special high-energy vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) lamp,
converting some air to ozone. A venturi injector is inserted on the return line, by-passing water back into the return
line of the pool which creates suction that draws the ozone into the venturi, mixing the bubbles as the water returns
to the pool. It is operated automatically by connecting the Pzone Lite system directly to the circulation pump or
plugging into a timer. A check valve is employed to prevent water back up in the event of system failure. A siphon
loop is recommended for added backpressure resistance. The system should run 8-12 hours per day for good results;
24 hours per day for high water clarity and minimum chemical usage.

Catalytic Agents for Water Quality
ACO - Active Catalytic Oxidizer
ACO is an Active Catalytic Oxidizer that works by using the energy of the sun or UV light to catalyze the formation of free radicals
to disinfect pool water. The radicals work just like chlorine to remove pollutants but they do not form combined chlorine.
ACO is not consumed in the process; it just makes what naturally happens much more efficient. ACO also protects
chlorine from photolysis by sunlight and makes it last three times longer in outdoor pools. ACO does the same as
cyanuric acid, but instead of reducing oxidation capacity, ACO amplifies the disinfection of water.

APF - All Poly Floc

APF is a multi-spectrum coagulant and flocculent that can remove pollutants from solution and flocculate fine suspended
solids, such as skin cells and bacteria, into large particles that are easily removed by AFM® (Activated Filter Media).
No single flocculent or coagulant can remove everything from the water. APF is a precise combination of 10 different
electrolytes and polyelectrolytes to cover the widest possible range. Dissolved constituents of water make up 80% of the
oxidation demand and suspended solids around 20%. Everything that is filtered out does not need to be oxidized. When
the correct flocculation is used in combination with AFM, chlorine consumption and the production of unwanted chlorine
by-products are reduced by up to 80%.

NOPHOS - No Phosphate Biological Solution Against Algae - for fish ponds

NoPhos removes phosphates that enter the pool from water supply, bathers and from debris blown into the pool. Phosphate
is a fertilizer and if completely removed, algae and bacteria slowly starve and are eliminated over a period of about six weeks.
NoPhos is a natural product that can be safely used in public and private swimming pools, as well as in natural pools, ponds
and aquarium. NoPhos is a charged ion which reacts with phosphate to form an insoluble precipitate that is removed by
AFM®, or it forms an inert deposit on the floor of the pool that is easily removed.
