 6Ss.03 Understand that the mode, median, mean and range are
ways to describe and summarize data sets. Find and interpret the
mode (including bimodal data), median, mean and range,
consider their appropriateness for the context.

Learners Answer the assessment questions independently.

Differentiation:
To support learners who find this difficult, the teacher provides more straightforward
questions for better understanding.
However, more challenging questions are provided for the confident learners for better
mastery

Relevance:
Using both mean and range together provides a more comprehensive understanding of a
dataset. While the mean gives the central location, the range highlights the extent of
variability, allowing for a better interpretation of the data as a whole.
