Lesson Presentation:
 Teacher will make three columns on board. Three resources (earth, water, crude
oil) will be written in these columns. Students will write three purposes of each
resource.

 Identify extinct animals.
 Suggest the ways to protect endangered animals.
Introduction:
 What are some ways to conserve natural resources?
 What is meant by 3 Rs?
 Which is the animal you have seen in T.V which is no more in this world now?
Vocabulary: habitat, endangered, extinct, hunting, Marco polo sheep, Tasmanian tiger,
dodo bird, dinosaur, vanished.
Lesson Presentation:
 Teacher will explain the term endangered and extinct and tell difference between
them.
 Pictures of endangered animals and extinct animals present in the book will be
shown.
 Steps to be taken to save endangered animals will be discussed.
 Teacher will write animals name on the board and make two columns,
(endangered, extinct) students will write names of animals in respective columns.
Wild bull, Indus dolphin, snow leopard, dodo birds,
Dinosaur, black dear, brown beer, Tasmanian tiger.
