Need a Full-Stack SDE-2 with at-least 3 years of full-time experience (non-negotiable).

Description: Has worked with Distributed, Highly-available systems running at large scale B2B
environment, requiring low-latency, high concurrency and performant design. Back-end heavy
but must have tangible front-end experience in at-least last 1 year (non-negotiable) having
worked on a production environment. This will not be a pure back-end role.

Must Have Tech: (/) indicates alternatives:


1. Programming: Javascript/Node.JS/Typescript, Express.JS/Nest.JS - Core-expertise, you live
and breathe Javascript.
2. Testing: Chai/Mocha/Jest, very strong in unit and integration testing - must follow TDD like
The Bible.
3. Database: MongoDB, SQL (MySQL/Postgres), Redis - strong in database design & concepts
like sharding, indexing, replicas, ACID etc.
4. Technologies: Distributed Systems, Kafka, Microservices - considerable experience and
competency expected with these if not expertise.
5. Front-end technologies: React, Bootstrap, SaaS, HTML, CSS - should at-least understand
front-end adequately well even if not able to contribute actively
6. APIs: REST, HTTP, GraphQL - Decent experience with all 3 is a must.
7. Cloud & CI/CD: Docker, Kubernetes, GCP. - should be able to deploy, scale and monitor
applications without constant back n forth with devOps.
8. Methodologies: OOPs, SOLID, Design Principles, AGIL - should stress code-quality at every
instance.

Nice to Have (not necessary):


1. Programming: Python, Go
2. Tools: AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud function and misc cloud technologies
3. Testing: End to End Tests, Load testing, Github Actions,
4. Technologies: Elastic Stack (ELK), Temporal.io, Next.Js
5. Front-end: Personal Projects on GitHub using React, Next.Js or other frameworks
6. Database: BigQuery,
7. APIs: gRPC
8. Cloud: AWS, Istio Service-mesh, Cloud Logging, Monitoring in cloud, Jenkins, ArgoCD,
9. Good command over Data-structures and Algorithm
10. Open source contribution, Personal Project to showcase on GitHub

Functional Requirements:
1. Can hit the ground running from 1st month, quickly onboard on zoop's B2B Transactional
system.
2. Eager to mentor juniors and looks forward to lead with enthusiasm.
3. Expert Troubleshooter - should be able to pinpoint where faults exist in the system
quickly during sudden incidents.
4. Loves to simplify things rather than use cool and trendy solutions which may work but
can be avoided in-lieu of simplicity.
5. Impact driven - has his/her horizon always 3-6 months down the line in terms of value
brought to the org.
6. Participate in all phases of the development cycle - plan, design, implement, review, test,
deploy, document, and training.
7. Required minimal supervision and is a capable individual contributor.
8. Deep-dive mindset: should be ready to research thoroughly and can acquire in-depth
understanding of technology.
9. You keep pace with the ever-changing specs of cutting-edge front-end and back-end
technologies. Ex: Bun.js, Svelte, Lang-chain.
10. Likes automating stuff - can solve ad-hoc/urgent business requirements through simple
scripts using any tool of choice.
