Greetings from Albert Einstein School! We are thrilled to present the weekly plan filled with
educational adventures, special events, and reminders tailored for your child's success and enjoyment.
To begin the week students will complete a writing task titled ‘All about me’. ESH Student Portait:

Following that students will complete a test to get a baseline understanding of
their abilities. This test will include a number of sections to show areas in which ● Student Book

To introduce the unit to the students, we will begin with a classroom

‘What makes you unique?’
Once introduced to the unit students will complete a ‘reading to learn’

Students will finish this part of the unit by completing activities related

Students will read a personal profile asking the question “Who am I?”. essential information

To finish off this section of the unit, students will work together to
brainstorm some vocabulary relating to a personal profile for
themselves. Following this, students will complete a personal profile
effectively answering the question “Who am I?”.
“Why do we need to protect our identity?”
Students will learn about life skills and the importance of protecting
their identity when online. They will read a web page article on online
safety and answer some short questions. Students will then listen to a
podcast, with the intention of answering questions and recognising key
information.
To finish this life skills strategy students will learn a speaking strategy on
the importance of emphasizing important points and how to effectively
deliver a speech. Once completed, they will need to complete a 2
minute speech talking about how to give advice on identity theft.
“How can we describe people?”
To finish the unit students will complete a writing task. Students will
once again complete a personal profile, this time on somebody they
know well. To prepare for this task students will read a profile about
someone that has been written by their friend. This will help students
develop an understanding of what is required for the task and how to
approach it.
A mind map will be made by all students to help them generate and
organize ideas. Once students have completed this they will write a first
draft for their writing task. When all corrections are made students will
finish their final draft of the writing task.
Revision
Students will start revision of the unit by completing a number of
exercises in both their student books and their textbooks. This revision
will be related to all aspects that have been covered in vocabulary and
grammar.
Following this students will take the end of the unit test.
Finally students will prepare a poster on what they have learned
throughout the unit to showcase their understanding of the material
covered and make a presentation to test their speaking ability.
